So you rejected a team you were on, pushed for me and Kinge to be on the team instead, and when that succeeded, you attempt to incriminate me based on the fact that Falc was awaiting my orders. Yep, totally Resistance play right there... /sarcasm

If he were a spy, he would have been more likely to accept a team he was on, especially with random people on it, since he could sabotage easier. I can see his reasoning for thinking you are a spy. Even if you are a resistance member, the fact that the GM 'potentially' revealed information makes your questionably dangerous.

In your defense however, I believe Falc is waiting for all mission orders regardless of role.

I'm simply making the assumption that if the final team member to not give an order was a resistance member, Falc would have said "whatevs" and pushed forward with the only possible order they could give in order to move the game along. However, he didn't.

That assumption is going to stick until something like a plot card changes my mind.

I'm simply working with the information I have; I can do no more.

I don't need to prove my loyalties, that will be done when the game is over and our roles are revealed. The people accusing me will either be revealed as spies trying to sow distrust, or misguided resistance members who need to get themselves a brain upgrade.

A few points:

1) Yes, you need to prove your loyalties. If you don't do that, the assumption that you are a spy will only grow
2) I had a plot card I could use(and I did use it), so it's more than Support/Sabotage when sending orders.
3) You seriously think Falc is such a terrible GM?
4) The "I'm great and anyone accusing me is either evil or an idiot" thing has been done to death.

4) The "I'm great and anyone accusing me is either evil or an idiot" thing has been done to death.

But .. it's true! Anyone accusing me in any game always is either evil or an idiot. Or both! :p

(Time for me to start posting in colour, btw .. completely forgot about that bit of the ghost rules. Go figure.)

I think that the rules are that everyone has to send in a support or sabotage order for that very reason; that way no one can infer so and so is a spy on the basis of the game is waiting on his vote.

I have stated once or twice before that I do indeed require a PM from everyone, even if they are Resistance and don't have a choice. No 'whatevs' in my book. Well, okay, I assumed that the Leader approves the Team he himself proposed...

Furthermore, even if, I would have never gone 'Whatevs' on esemesas, since he also had to decide if he would use his Plot Card.

Which he did, on Kingepyon.

Anyhoo, results are in and the Mission is a SUCCESS! That's 2 for the Resistance, only one to go!

Next Leader is Kingepyon and his Plot Card is:
Opinion Maker – Permanent Effect – The player to whom the Leader passes this card must publically Vote for Mission Team selection. This card remains in effect until the end of the game.

Please select a player to become the Opinion Maker and then propose a Team.

(Since the forum is acting up, no front page update for now)

I can guarantee that your team will fail if it is approved; I am not a spy-hence at least one of those four has to be one. And, the spy must sabotage; they can't play along for appearance sake because the resistance is 1 mission away from victory.

So, I might as well note right now that I will not vote in favor of your team.

I suspect everyone not on the team will have the same reasoning, regardless of role.

Well, suit yourself. Time will prove me right, though that still leaves the question of which of the four on your team (should it pass) is a spy. FWIW, I am reasonably confident that yourself and esemesas aren't.

Oh, I'm pretty confident there's a spy in this group somewhere, but if I would switch out Xarcan and Reis for you and Cymsdale, I would still bet on me having a spy in my group.

Especially since my guess would have to be flawless. But there's too little information to determine who the spy is, and I'm hoping this round gives us what we need to narrow things down so we can get the right group in the 3 man group next time around.

For example, if we have 2 spies within this group, we have a 50% chance of winning next round when the group chosen is you, Cymsdale and 1 other. If that fails, we KNOW who the spy is, and we still know you and Cymsdale are clear, and we only have to find 1 spy at that point.

Of course, if esemesas would have saved his card for this round (boo :() we would have been able to tell with certainty 1 more person who is clear, which would have helped a lot.

Eh, the next mission is a 3 person team-so we do have some breathing room.

I guess I'll go ahead and vote to approve your team, though unless there is a kindhearted spy, it still won't be of any avail.

Nah - The Popcorns too good.

It *never* makes sense to approve a 4 person team you are not on, unless you are a spy going for the third point. Do you know how to play this game?

I have 4 votes so far (including Cymsdale's public one), so awaiting two more.

I would like to re-invite all those who are proposed for the mission to pre-load their Action.

There's a limit of 5 team proposals, though... /devil's advocate

That... doesn't matter. It's a mechanic to force the 5th proposal to be accepted. The spies can't force a loss with that right now because it requires plot cards to do so.

It's a bad move for a spy, it's a worse move for a resistance member.
