The scenario editor crashes with April 21 beta installed.

When i got 1.08b 21 april, some provinces where unable to get ''owned'' by any nations, for example ragusa, when u take any country, and take Own on it, the editor turns off.

 What happened to it  ? in the older version it worked okay.

Thanks in advance

Are you trying to edit an ongoing game or scenario? If it's one with the Flagname command present, then this is a known bug (and is unlikely to be fixed, sorry).

well, that doesn't seem to be it... I tested it (since I have used the editor recently and wasn't aware of any problem then)

opening the scenario editor.
file -> new (so nothing ongoing)

set the end year to 1420, nothing else on that screen(scenario properties)

add a country (Austria, just to make sure it's not one of the newly added ones :) )

editing in owned provinces (CTRL+ L.Click)
Lombardia, Emilia work fine, Firenze crashes..

exactly that happens to me to!

What is it with the new patch that causes this?

Had the same problem! Crashed when I tried to assign a province to a country!

Thought it would be just a problem with my EU2 installation so I reinstalled and patched again.

After that, the Editor crashed again.

So, does anyone know what to do about this, since it's just not only me?

If it is as reported above, then the editor would need to be re-written to work with EU2 as it is these days. I doubt extremely that is going to happen.

You could ask over in the Modding forums whether they see the same problems, and if so what they do about it.

It probably has something to do with the new higher province number limit, the scenario editor wasn't adapted, so it still thinks EU2 has 1615 provinces, while it can have 2100 provinces?

Ah yes, very likely. I'll report it, but to be honest I don't like the chances ...
