Hello! This is my first AAR, so, eh, quality migth not be that good but I'll try. I'm using CORE.
Second Great War
16th of February 1936 came like a lightning out of a clear sky. Of course Hitler knew that re-occupation of Rheinland would annoy the surrounding countries and the Allies but this was completely unexpected. France made several threats to Germany after the reoccupation. Germany boldy said that the Treaty of Versailes is dead. On 16th feb. 1936 France declared war on Germany. Soon after the declaration of war Poland sent Germany an ultimatum, but withdrwe it as Germany stood firm. Germany, seemingly wishing to reattempt the Schiefflen Plan declared war on Belgium, dragging Belgium and UK to the war. The Second Great war came out of nowhere.
And us, you ask? Well, we have plans... But currently Abyssinia is taking all our attention. Ill Duce's great plan to expand our colonial empire is working out great. But Field Marshall Bastico surely knows the details better than me!

Italian Plans
Our plans? To be honest, they are a bit uncertain. The Second Great War is a good opportunity, but I don't know what to do...yet. I know that we must regain the territories that belong rightfuly to us, but how we are going to do this, is uncertain. War with the French would brign the hate of the Allies upon us, war with Germany... What would we gain out of it in the end? One plan is the wait until we see which side is victorious and then join the victors. Other is that we stay neutral and try to gain those territories with diplomacy.
Germany has give us some suplies though and the people are getting ever more pro-German, as am I.
I gave my field marshals an order to think how we could improve our army. They came up with a plan to train highly trained units and deploy them among the divisions to improve the performance. Sounds good to me. The Ethiopian war will surely give us some experience too, no doubt about that.
The industrial capacity is worrying me... The lack of steel is quite critical and I am not sure if the world market will help anymore...
Only time will tell what will happen. We will wait and see until the rigth time to act.

"Operation 0"
Hello! I am Field Marshall Bastico and I will tell you how the Ethiopian war is faring!
I must say that my, and our troops have outperformed themselves. The divisions under my direct command have lost a meager hundred men and some odd pieces of equipment. The "Operation 0", plan to encircle Addis Abeba and force to Ethiopian forces to surrender is well under way. I and my forces are to capture the province of Magalo.
Here is the map:
Red arrows represent the movement of Italian troops. Notice how Selassie is pulling double duty.
See you next time!

A very early WWII. I'm itching to see how this turns out...
