Alright everyone!

I have released 1.1 of Sexxicolors, which is basically the same as 1.0, but now available for download once again. :wacko:

1.1 includes minor changes to a few revolters (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Libya, Sudan to name a few), but that is about it. Still, I hope you enjoy it, and I urge you to update your files if you were already using them, as it will affect your multiplayer games if you are both using the mod and have different versions. :(

Enjoy, leave comments, suggestions, whatever! I need attention... :eek:o ;)
 
Sorry guys, I just uploaded 1.11.

I noticed a few problems with the European map after Germany is defeated, so the files have been updated accordingly. I recommend you re-download the files!
 
Good work! I must try this out :D

I especially like the Terrain Map colors; a lot easier to see the differences now.

And so, I have spent many hours reworking the entire HOI2 map. The codename? Sexxicolors! :D Here is a little preview to spark interest!

As you can see, nearly every country has an improved color or totally new color, including many revolters, including the Caucus Republics, the Balkans, and other popular revolters such as the Confederate States, Egypt, Flanders, Wallonia, and Scandinavia.

TO INSTALL:

Simply download this file and extract it to your Hearts of Iron main folder. It will ask you if you'd like to overwrite existing files. Say yes! :D

Sexxicolors 1.11

ATTENTION:

Version 1.1 has been uploaded and is ready to download! (June 1st, 2005)

Version 1.1 is esentially the same as 1.0, but a few revolters have been changed. All of the revolters are a work in progress, as it is brain-wracking to assign them appropriate colors without having them "blend in" with their neighbors.

Sorry guys, I noticed some problems with nations after Germany was defeated and the European map was redrawn! I apologize for updating the files and requiring another download so soon after I already updated. Luckily the file is only a few kilobytes!

Be aware, this mod WILL EFFECT MULTIPLAYER. You and your friends will all need to use this mod; a mixed blessing! :rolleyes:

As always, suggestions are welcome. Also, I use my own colormod in conjunction with Mikon Orod's modded REVOLT.TXT, which I am highly supportive of and highly recommend. It can be found here.

i clicked on "a new order in europe" and saw the contriey scandanavia, and thought wat the hell
 
Is this mod for HoI or HoI2? :confused:
 
Yeah. :wacko:

This will definately be fixed for the next version I upload. It's already on my hard drive but I haven't really noticed any interest and it's tough getting webspace. So, don't worry, one day, my friend!

(it also changes Quebec's color, lol)

Egypt rarely shows up in normal gameplay (unless you use SMEP :D (are you? ;) )), and the situation in nations surrounding Egypt makes it nearly impossible to make it anything but Swiss Red. Frankly, I think it's a nice color for Egypt, especially since most of the time it is a British puppet (or occassionally an Italian puppet).

Italian Green will not work becauase of Italy.

Hungarian/Portugese Green will not work because both Libya and Jordan, if released, are that color.

So, little options are remaining... but like I said, I am happy with the status quo on Egypt. :)
 
How about the brown color they use in VIP? I changed it for my scenario to look like that (since the red just didn't look right). Here's a screen of Egypt with that color.

Does it have a name or it's going to be the Sexxiflags ? :D
Is it going to be included with you smep/sexxicolors mod?

Unfortunately I have been quite busy lately, so it might be some time before I release remade/historical flags for HOI2. If you want to see the quality of some of the flags that don't change from WW1 to WW2 (such as France, Britain, US, etc) then you can find the shields in the 1914 Graphics section.
