Ever since I bought and installed the CKDV complete pack several weeks ago, whenever I try to switch to the economic map within the game, I've noticed that something is wrong with the texture of the map. There would be fine vertical red lines on the entire map, like someone had taken a sand paper and rub it across the whole map texture.

I never tried out any graphic mod associated with the map, so maybe something had gone wrong when I was installing the game. Could anyone please help me out with this issue? Like where is the texture file of the economic map located, so maybe I can begin to doing a manual install of that particular file again.

I appreciate it. :)

You must install the latest beta-patch from here

It fixed this issue plus various other ones that you haven't even noticed but were much more serious :)

I think the 10.15.08 patch is indeed the beta patch that I installed, unless I've done it incorrectly, because I manual installed each file to my CK folder maybe I messed something up.

But what is going to happen to my saved games? Can I still play it after "reinstalling" this patch?

You probably forgot something to copy and paste

Install the beta-patch file (the rar-file) into your main Crusader kings-folder (Paradox Interactive/Crusader kings) and then right-click on it and select 'extract here'

For the save-game this shouldn't be a problem (though I can't guarantee that)

Hey Veld thanks for your help. I tried to reinstall the patch as you suggested, my economic map no longer looks like a "mess" and the game seems to even run a bit faster. However....every single province on my map, when in economic view, shows the same color and doesn't seem to distinguish rich/poor provinces.

What would you suggest that I do? Personally I rarely use the economic map, but I just want to ensure there isn't a bigger problem that I'm not seeing. Should I reinstall the game? :(

Is it greenish ?

There are different shades of green on the map, you have to looke carefully
