The warrior perk Tower is the most broken thing heroes have, there's no counter play for it and the warrior easily draws all the aggro of your monsters anyway, but without the downside of ever having his shield break.

The entire match becomes trying to eat through their instant revive potions with spells and whatever single creature you control because the rest of your army might as well not exist while they're helplessly pounding at the warriors shield. He doesn't even have to dodge mines he can stand in the middle of 4 of them and take the blast without breaking shield.

And the spell doesn't just make it so he can't move, it makes it so he can't BE moved. Swap hero does not work on him, which would be the best counter play to this ridiculous perk.

Yes, this perk is pretty ridiculous. The only thing I saw that even slightly hampers it is the use of spiders or the sheep card. The only even mild inconvenience it add is the warrior can't shield his way through bees to stun them, but a mage covers that up completely.

I'm all for an upgrade that increases shield durability heavily with a downside included, but there still needs to be a limit instead of it being completely indestructible. Even beerholder's explode does nothing.

Also on the subject of Never Surrender, does it even have a max range on it? From what I've seen you can use it from almost anywhere and get the job done.

It has no max range, so a warrior with tower + never surrender means you have to wipe the other two heroes 3/4+ however many potions they find per level before you can even eat into their hearts. Since killing the warrior is not an option.

The Perk is bugged. It has been fixed and will go live in the next patch.
