I have no idea what to do, how would you people feel about me switching countries for the story? I think this AAR is more of a story than gameplay, I really have no other option other than destruction.

You can do what you want. Its your AAR and if thats the way you wish to go with it, please do so....... As long as you dont use cheats or Bring about the death of Scotland, then you will have one less reader!!
I won't use cheats! I was thinking that as everyone is going to Modena the AAR should continue there. If I do decide to do that then the next Chapter will probably be lacking in actual gameplay and will be only story to make it work again.
That would be fine, But isnt Modena the Lesser in a PU with the Glorious Nation of Ferrara?
Modena, Ferrara and the Papal State are my vassals and are not in PUs because they were annexed by Mantua before being released by Milan I think.
That is right. I completely forgot you did that. I threw it out my mind when you lost your save file and went back some. I thought Constantino was before the whole Mantua going wild with power. My mistake. So, youre going to allow this ursurper to take your throne then shift to one of your vassals and continue the story from there? Sounds interesting!! But you should of went to Ferrara,... Its nice this time of year!!

To this day, I have NO idea how it came to that. That was the most awkward turn of Events I have ever seen. But good on you for wanting to be Original. I have never even played as Modena. I didnt really like its milky tan colour.
I really can't think of any way to defeat the pretenders so unless anyone thinks of anything I'm going to go along with this.
You got me. Thats one of the reasons I hate playing in Italy. The rebels there are outrageously OD. You annex an OPM with a 2,000 man army, A rebel army sprouts up with 12,000. Doesnt add up in my book.

A very nice update - good to see the king has an heir, though for how long we'll have to see. I'm looking forward to the next update, wherever it may occur.
Also, the game does by no means end if the pretenders win, you just get a new royal family.

no if pretenders win they become the new king of your state. admittedly, you will hit by the terrible legitimacy bat, but everyone gets hit by it eventually. And your outdoing me here man, ive still got exams to go so i cant make anymore AARs.
I'm horrendously ill so I'm moving today's update to Sunday. I've also discovered the Phoenix mod.
I have a serious problem with this AAR now, I was having problems with the Phoenix mod and in my illness and impatience I decided DELETE EVERYTHING, sadly this sort of included the game files. I think it's the end of this AAR's road, but if anyone would be interested in another, you've seen my style of writing and I'll need a country, NOT ITALY PLEASE. I really want to write one again but now I've lost the game files, including the ones for all my challenges I'm doing, so sorry Mr Smiley and ATB. I was thinking something like Lorraine that's close to threats but has a chance of escaping them. Let's call this AAR a taster, so can I have a second chance?
We are all here for the fun, so of course you get a second chance, and a third, and a fourth, and a... Just pick the nation you like and go with it. Lorraine is HRE so it should have some defense against the French and is in a good position to carve out a nice kingdom. Whatever you pick, good luck!
