I dunno, man. Sid Meier's Dinosaurs never saw the light of day... In fact I don't think we've seen an entirely new game out of Firaxis since. Just remakes. If dinosaurs broke Sid, what chance does anyone else have? :(

afaik it was always reynolds being the creative force

dinosaurs

Wow. What could they be for?. Ummm… let´s see:

HoI 3 DLC: “A dinosaur that will live in infamy”. Nazi scientists have discovered a way of cloning and taming dinosaurs for combat. We get a new combat unit with medium softness, high SA attack and a new trample attack. On top of that they require no fuel and no supplies, as they can feed on enemy troops. Great for Eastern front as they can also combat Moths, their archy enemies.

Victoria 2 DLC: “A dinosaur marches on its stomach”. Colonization of Africa most hidden areas has brought the discovery of ancient and hidden valley full of still living dinosaurs. You can parade them through your capital city and make a “Universal Exposition” with them. They give research points, make POPs more conscious and give you a big amount of cash due to the Exposition. On top of that, you can use them to scare enemy armies.

Crusader Kings 2 DLC: “Dinosauria et Impera” (dinosaur and conquer). In the far away lands the Aztecs come from strange and dangerous animals live. They are many meters high, with extremely big teeth and an unending hunger. These dinosaur riding Aztecs are an extremely dangerous heavy cavalry.

nah. a dinosaur zombie apocalypse.
The plague is created, but deemed to dangerous to use. So its destroyed.. thrown in the baltic sea...

There it sinks to the bottom, and awakens the ancient dinosaurs that soon rise from the seas!

Reminds me of Dino D-Day,an online FPS taking place in a World War II where the Nazis cloned dinosaurs. While a hilariously awesome concept, the game itself was sadly not-so-good.

How about a grand strategy game set in the Hunger Games universe.

Not sure if there's enough stuff for a grand strategy, but a strategy game set in there could be kind of cool, with the different districts and all that.

The super-secret project is a crossover between V2 and Leisure Suit Larry in which the dirty old man appears in a random POP in your country and the player must manage the economy to trigger his migration such that he appears in as many provinces with "Immoral Business" as possible, reloading as the new country every time he emigrates. Game continues until 1936 or when he appears in a country with "Temperance League"; whichever comes first.

:D

and the in game voice will be that of Richard Kiley... they spared no expense.

Considering he's dead it really was quite expensive to achieve.

Not really.. we see thread necromancy on this forum all the time.

The MEGA-CAMPAIGN: ROME + CK + EU + VIC + HOI + EvW in one game

I wish :(

Though I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that they must have at least thought/discussed about it (hopefully still thinking about it). Perhaps they are looking for the right time. It could be next year or in five years. Who knows?

hohum, so now we know what dinosaurs was (dinos, ninjas and vikings -trilogy of coolests stuff evah).. ie the viking expansion.

Now a hint for the supersecret thing?

Perhaps the supersecret thing was the Victoria 2 expansion? (it is an expansion, not a large DLC like that of CK II)
