I disagree with that plan. The Qing Empire restored has been done far too many times, and to be honest, I think that that was one of Pteap's largest mistakes: it should have either kept on the original Republican China path, or never had the Empire fall in the first place.
The War That Never War allows for avoiding that mistake, and since the Qing Empire does fit with the theme, my suggestion is to avert the 1912 Revolution - not all that hard, considering there is an earlier POD to work with here. Something simple as a relatively successful Hundred Days' Reform could work well.

I thought about classical Three Kingdoms Scenario with warlords at the end to historical Shikai Empire taking a bit of land. There would be Kingdoms of WU (Li Zogren and Republicans), SHU (Long Yun and friends), WEI (Shikai Dynasty) and Mongolia, Turkestan and Xibei independent.
Shikai Empire would get hold of most of Manchuia exept coastline that is under Japanesse control and norther part controled by Russia.

Probsbly I should had announced it earlier, but I fear I might not have enough time/interest to continue this project even further.

To be honnest, I am not really into HoI2 anymore, so my interest for creating a mod is unfortunatly quite low. It is not because of lack of support, quite the contrary since I had a lot of interest and suggestions from you guys so I am entirely to blame.

If someone want to take the project over, there is plenty of stuff to use: old PTEAP stuff of course, and the new storyline and suggestions. I'd be very happy if someone interested enough would wish to continue this project.

So as of this moment the project is our hands. I say! THIS WILL NOT DIE! ALL HAIL COMUNITY!!

Can we[anyone interested in taking up charge of the modding project] use any preexisting code/files/images/etc? If so, could you post them up somewhere for any interested parties? I don't know much about modding/Paradox's programming language(I know plenty of Python programming language however, but I don't think Paradox uses that). If I had the time and effort, I'd learn right now how to make a mod just to see this mod through to the end. I *might* take a stab at attempting to mod some stuff from what you already made(I can learn).

Paradox is using simple stuff for writing event, Ya can create a generator for events via python or c++. Thats not big deal. Countries/Ministers/Techteams are simple too.

can someone help , i loaded the mod .61 over armageddon latest, when i start it i get new leaders and military but the countries are all normal vanilla . no aus-hun , no imperial ger. I overwrote the arma file , what did i do wrong thanks glen1525
