The rampage continues...

- Well Fernando, here we are again, the break is over and mind you. Some really starnge things happened in June
- Really, what?
- Argentina annexed France
- Really, you must be kidding?
- No
- Alright, so what happened then?
- Nothing until November 13 when El Salvador was attacked, on the twenty first, the enemy whas expelled and the country annexed, then it was quiet for four months until Guatemala was DOWed, after a murderous bombardment the city was conqured on april 5, this was also the first war that paratroopers was used, the first attack was repelled but when the ground forces arrived, another drop was commenced, the El salvadorians now had to fend of attacks from both the ground and the skie, they just couldn´t cope.
- And then, Italy had annexed all the countries in central america?
- Other countries had colonies in south america, so I thought that Italy should have some too and on september 18 1945, war was declared on Uruguay, five days later the first army landed and captured montevideo later that day, on 23:00 september 18, Uruguay was annexed into the italian empire and whas christened italian south america. Peace then hung ove Italy until we attacked portugal in Marsh 12 1946, first army landed in Lissabon and manged to capture the ancient capitol on march 13, I regogniced the need to capture the entire portugese mainland, mostly because they easily could recapture lissabon from some of the other provinces, between the thirteenth and april 8 porto and evora was captured but we lost lissabon, all attempts to recapture the city failed until april 22nd when a massive offensive recaptured the city, faro was then seized and apart from a small garrison left in lissabon the rest set ssail for the Azores. They arrived there on may the first and two days later the islands was all in Italian hands, the next target was the cape verde islands, on may 15th the first army unloaded there and seven hours later the enemy was expelled, on june 14, cabinda was attacked and fell after only two hours of battle, on the 20th the battle for luanda also lasted for only two hours. On july 8 the undefended city of Lorenco Marques was attacked, the first army had then played its role in the campaign and was sent home to athens. On july 16, the soldiers in the italian southeast asia garrison attacked Macao fighting a battle that lasted only an hour, the enemy POWs was sent to the libyan desert or to occupied territory in africa were they were put to work on felling mahogany trees (of course they couldn´t fell mahogany trees in libya, they were instead put to work on manufacturing high explosives), on the 25th the garrison arrived in Dili, the enemy surrendered after only one hour. Six hours later Poryugal was annexed and the porugese colonies were given differnet names: Cabinda and the parts south of belgian territory became italian Angola, the parts on the east coast, became Italian Mocambique, Macao became Italian china, dili became italian east indies, the mainland became italian iberia and all the other islands became italian atlantic islands. However, despite this victory there was one more hard and bloody war to be fought.
- We´re back after the brake.

The end

- Welcome back after the brake, in my interview with il duce, we have now reached the middle of 1947, what happened then?

- Well, the comquest of bulgaria had given us a port in the black sea but I figured that we needed more ports so, I descided to attack Turkey, all the troops in the balkans was amassed and at the end of the year the front had reached samsun-ankara-konya-mersin, the turks however had enormous forces ready to attack so i descided to set up a puppet regime, the turkish soldiers, who had been told that we were monsters who wanted to whipe out turkey as a state now turned against their leaders and rebelled, Turkey was proclaimed an independent state, however it maintained, and maintains close bonds ith Italy, feeling contempt with what I had done, I retired and could look back on my deeds, now however, I have been doubting what I had done was right, all those young men, dead, for what use? Thank you for the interview.
- You´re welcome
Mussolini got up from the armchair, took three steps towards the exit, clutched his chest, groaned and fell down.
Thousands of italians were shocked by the sight of Mussolini falling down on the floor, doctos emmidiately rushed forward, the microphone picked up a few words of what the doctors said:
“...Cardiac arrest...”
“...Stand clear...”
FFFOMP
“Nothing...”
“...Stand clear...”
FFFOMP
“I´ve got a weak pulse...”
“Quick! Get him to the ambulance...”

It was to late, A stunned italy found out that their great leader had died after seven hours of treatment by the best medical care Italy could offer, the cause of death was a heart attack.
Thousands lined the coffins way towarsd the vatican, were Il duce was laid to rest in S:t Peters basilica among other great men (and women), the burial act was performed by Pope Pius XII himself and a shaken Umberto II held a gripping speech, talking about Mussolinis great deeds, his commitment to Italy and his firm belief in fascism, but also his commitment to make Italy a democracy, his want to keep the country together in an age of madness, and his commitment to remain neutral, “In the end” Umberto said “Never before have so many, owed so much, to such a great man”.
Amen.

ACHTUNG! ACHTUNG!
Seems that I didn´t put the conquest of Switzerland in, anyway, it was a very short campaign.
PLEASE!
Giver comments on what was bad an what was good.

To add a bit of flavour to the AAR, I´ve come up with the official title for the monarch of Iatly, it goes something like this:

Umberto II, ruler of the two sicilies, il duce, emperor of thailand, el salvador, nicaragua, guatemala, honduras, costa rica, ethiopia, haiti, lord protector and leader of the democratic country of greece, Prince of dodeikaniesos and surrounding islands, president of bulgaria, panama, uruguay and switzerland, lord advisor of the turkish emperor, king of libya, jugoslavia and albania, sheik of saudi arabia, supreme commander of italys armed forces, guardian of faith, lord protector of fascism.

Earlier on, it was divided up so that Mussolini was: Il duce, supreme commander of Italys armed forces and protector of fascism, when he died, he bequeathed that title to: "Vittorio emanuelle II, emperor of thailand, el salvador, nicaragua, guatemala, honduras, costa rica, ethiopia, haiti, lord protector and leader of the democratic country of greece, Prince of dodeikaniesos and surrounding islands, president of bulgaria, panama, uruguay and switzerland, lord advisor of the turkish emperor, king of libya, jugoslavia and albania, sheik of saudi arabia, guardian of faith, to belong to him and his sucessors, for all eternity, until they voluntarily descide to abandon their right to these titles, if they do descide to abandon these titles, they may never reclaim them, until the head of government descides go give these titles unto another person, his person may be anyone, even the previous owner of the title, as long as he/she has certain credits, and have fullfilled some obligations, these obligations are..."

One more thing before this AAR is closed, there must be an aftermath...

Here we go:

The war had not left Italy untouched, i´ts rampage thruoghout the world had been sucessful, but costly, in some italian villages, there was 5 women to every man, of the nations gold reserves had 3/4 been spent, early in the war, Italy solved this problem by looting, in the orthodox balkans, the golden dromes of the churches was removed, melted down to gold bars and sent to hidden bunkers in the alps.
Ikons were ravaged, the gold and silver sent home.
Most of the museums in occupied territory were sacked and the bunkers in the alps were flooded with precious artefacts.
One of the places that suffered the most however was italian southeast asia (Siam), the palaces were looted, the gold stuffed onboard convoys and sent home.
One of the most precious artefacts looted was a massive gold buddha, its head detachable and inside was a golden basket stuffed with diamonds.
But, towards the end of the war, it wasn´t enough, all that could be looted was looted and gold reserves began to dwindle, apart from the conquest of sitzerland, were banks were looted, and the money sent back (Including that of some top Nazis, it´s rumored that Hitler himself lost a good deal of money that way), it was a dwindling curve.
This was most demonstrated with the attack on turkey, the reserves was so low that reinforcements couldn´t be sent and a puppet regime was set up instead.
After 1947, when the italian rampage was over, Italys reserves started to get bigger again, the bunkers were filling up, one way that the reserve was filled was through piracy.
The invasion of britain, operation seelöwe was succesful, and the gold from bank of england had to be evacuated, the brits therefore started operation Moneypenny, the gold was evacuated to the USA on submarines, the italians saw this as a way to gain more gold, so operation Borsa (moneybag) was set up, the submarines was stopped by the regia marina while recharging its batteries, the gold taken and the submarine sunk, it has been estimated that the italians gained 35 tonnes of gold that way.
As for the rest of the world, USA held out as a lonely bastion under siege until 1973, when Hitlers death sparked the beginning of a civil war in germany, were rival generals and field marchals tried to take contol, in the end, Heinz Guderian, Erwin Rommel and von Manstein set up a triumvirate, von Manstein was assasinated, since he didn´t approve with the other twos idea of change, the world stabilised, britain regained it´s liberty, the blockade on USA was lifted and the world settled down, although britain had to cede most of its colonies to germany, france was re-established, but elsass-lothringen went to germany, luxemburg, belgium and the netherlands also became free.

In ASIA, the japanese also gave china its liberty, however, japan kept the coast, accept for Nanking and shanghai.
These two cities became a enclave, this was to result in more conflicts in asia...

Current situation:

Italy: Stronger than ever, a constitutional monarchy with the king as a symbolic head of state, at war with Romania about the future of Malta, winning.

Britain: Weak, confined to the british isles and involved in a bloody war with ireland and spain, desperate for peace in spain since every little bit is needed to win the war against Ireland

Ireland: Involved in a bloody war with britain, originating in the conflict ofer the future of belfast

Germany: Strong, but declining, due to the enormous economic boost the conquest of europe ment, its infaltion is going sky high...

USA: Blossoming economy although it has lost all its islands and have signed the panama canal future treaty with Italy, determining the canals future, italy shall get the canal in 2015.

Argentina: Argentina is the axis member that had profited the second-least from the war, gaining a few pacific islands, a enclave in syria, guyana and the malvinas

South africa: National socialist state with apartheid, puppet of Germany, couped in 1963.

Iran: Gained iraq and most of syria + kuwait, the worst member of the axis, Japan had to "Bail them out", due to allied occupation of coast.

Japan: Involved in a twelve year long conflict with china about the future of the chinese coast. Gained Chinese coast, India, bhutan and nepal

Nat. China: Fighting the twelve year war with Japan, shielded not only by low infra. deserts but also by the Chiang-kai-chek-line, a shain of level three forts running through the desert

Com. China: DEAD

Vichy france: Involved in a defensive war against france, aided by germany

France: Trying to conquer Vichy france, looks like the war is going to be a stalemate

Spain: Involved in the third gibraltar war against UK, now trying to press home their demands on gibraltar at the bargaining table, occupying Gibraltar and parts of Wales and cornwall

Tannu tuva: Descided to join the soviet union in 1986

Mongolia: Got parts of northern china

Romania: Descided to leave the axis after the reform under the triumvirate made that possible without suvear consequenses, at war with turkey about the future of cyprus and with Italy about the future of malta, in both wars they are on the defensive, italy has occupied Malta and is pushing up from the south. Gained cyprus and Malta and ist therefore the country that gained the least of the war (accept for slovakia, who didn´t gain anything).

Turkey: Empire, Puppet of Italy, besieging the Romanian garrison in Cyprus, winning.

Hungary, Slovakia, Tibet, Sinkiang, Afghanistan, Manchukuo, Canada, Soviet union, Finland, Rest of southern america, Norway, Sweden, Australia, The netherlands, Luxemburg and Belgium: Nothing has changed really
