It would be nice to draw something like a Offensive / defensive line.
The Team - mates would see that (for some minutes) and know what u are going to do.
Like the draw mode in hearts of iron 4.
This and the Flares is all we really need to be honest. It'll allow for communcation between commanders AND give as some quasi-accuracy as your allies don't quite see what your arrow was pointing at and drive a column of Shermans at a Tiger Platoon.
I like this talk about communication tools, we should make a thread about that in it self to be honest. I personally think the total war communication tools would translate perfectly well to wargame.
Sorry for my ignorance, but could you enlighten me the what tools Total War uses?
Irony here. 12 year old, haha! Also lets remove this chat because I don't like what people say because it offends me! Many people on this forum might also be 12.So you're twelve?

Cancer or not let people say what they want. Free speech and all that jazz.
I'm tried of people thinking free speech is singularly tied to government. Jesus Christ you don't understand the idea at all. You simply don't. You are talking about the constitution not the principle of free speech. Believe it or not being against people speaking freely means you are against free speech and that's okay. Being scared of memes and neo-nazis is rather hysterical though. The right to free speech is to protect you from the government and is concerned with public spaces. You have no right to free speech on someone's privately owned property, physical or digital. Deciding what speech is and isn't permitted on your private property is a form of freedom of speech that supersedes that of the people who don't own the property.
Putting the issue of a chat room in the game aside, I'm tired of seeing people not understand what the meaning is of the rights they supposedly hold sacred.
Putting the issue of a chat room back on the table, as a community member I hope Eugen/Paradox decide that they don't want their private property to be used as a platform to spread vile ideologies.
Scared is a strong word. More like tired. It's adolescent, it's stupid, and the people doing it either are just kids trolling, or mentally challenged. The spam suffocates the chat so that even if someone wanted to use it for the genuine purpose of, I don't know, discussing the game, they'll be either repulsed by the mentality or swamped under the swastikas anyway. I really see no need to have a neo-nazi echo chamber just as bad as whatever the far-left uses.Being scared of memes and neo-nazis is rather hysterical though.
I lol'd.And on the steppes and islands far, let us pay remembrance to those who paid the ultimate price to allow us that one most basic right.
To let us post ASCII penises wherever the Hell we please.
Irony alert. It's actually going over your head.Really loving the lack of understanding of what the 1st Amendment actually allows from German Power.
The whole 'private vs public' thing is really whiffing by him.
Edit: Being offended isn't a argument by the way.
I think it's great that really on Mitchverr has had a decent argument for keeping it and that was with heavy moderation being present. The great thing about Wargame chat was that anything goes. If you are offended by words of text in a video game chat I don't think I can take you seriously. . .

I'm not nor have I stated Paradox doesn't have the right. Not my argument. Strawman TM
My point is free speech is a ideal and people can still be against free speech regardless of the government being involved because it's a ideal and that ideal isn't free speech from the government. It's the idea that you have the ability to speak freely in private life as well as public.
Many people have a fundamental misunderstanding of the first. It's a protection of free speech not defining free speech, duh.
