This issue started occurring immediately after updating to version 1.3.3f1.This issue started occurring immediately after updating to version 1.3.3f1.

Steps to reproduce​

1. Reinstall the game (menu shows properly after install)
2. Close the game and shut down or restart the PC
3. Launch the game again from Steam
→ The game opens to ocean with no menu or UI

Expected Result​

Main menu should appear normally every time I launch the game.

Actual Result​

After reboot, the game only shows the ocean screen.
There is no menu, no UI, no way to play. It becomes completely unusable.

What mods do you have installed?​

None. All mods have been disabled. I also tested in full vanilla mode using -noWorkshop and -disableMods.

How did you solve it? I moved all of my save files and mods and I am launching the game in offline mode with no steam cloud and I am still getting this issue...

How did you solve it? I moved all of my save files and mods and I am launching the game in offline mode with no steam cloud and I am still getting this issue...

I fixed the issue by deleting everything inside the Saves subfolder under the 949230 folder in Steam's userdata.

In my case, the Steam userdata was located at:
C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\userdata\1854034672

After removing the contents of the Saves folder there, the game launched successfully.
If the userdata folder is not visible, open File Explorer and search for "userdata" to locate it.
