You know...I was thinking. The only times I go to war is when
A) I want soemthing
B) My ally gets attacked
C)They backstab me.

But usually in peace its money, white, territory. And I was thinking one of the things about MP is that there are so many more possiblities to peace...why am I still doing SP like peace.

There are alot more possibilities to go for things..demand them...or so forth that I have a few idea's of things im gonna try soon that dont happen too often (yes they happen but not NEARLY enough)

1) forced disarment. This can be of a country (whos especially annoying) or a region.

2) Limiting there army (keep em down under x number of units)

3) Occupation (keep guys there if they get any bright idea's in the future)

4) Trade restrictions (stay out of cot x...no more then x number of merchants in cot x)

5) forced release of vassals (especially good for austria)

1 - Nations would rearm anyway
2 - If it was me I would go 1k over the limit just to antagonize you then just build a huge army and see if you want to put restrictions on me again.
3 - That would be really cool other than the fact that war exhaustion would shoot up.
4 - I've seen this happen numerous times and it is indeed a nice peace effect.
5 - I agree.

I've only witnessed this 2 times...one was on me :(

I like the disarming idea, i was just thinking about that last night. Especially in our current game where im OE and am very friendly with France. Have him get an rm after telling austria to disband it's military to 15k cav to stop potential revolts. If he tells me that soldiers are being built then BOOM dow. Would work quite nicely imo :)

I did this in a Vnet game today....

I was Austria...he was ottomans...i picked up on some groups save game....

Ottomans attacked and I beat the crap out of all his armies (I sat in the Mountain provinces with 9 quality troops..all sliders to morale and 1 lv1 higher CRT) and waited for him to attack...crush the army...chase with some cavalry..repeat..he lost 400K i lost 100K...5 year war)

i had a war score of 80%....and I only needed 2 or 3 more provinces....so for peace I made him take this:

He cant have an army over 50K at any time
He had to release all the bulkan states and half of North Africa.
I got the rest of Hungary.
He had to give Russia there territory when he comes around
Anual tribute of 100D
Cannot Ally with any of my neighboors.
cant declare an offensive war for 25 years.

he thought I didn't have spy's...did the first one and i quickly marched in...

then he left :(

baby's.

Fun peace though...

You may ask why he accepted this...and it was quite simple..I was sieging the last of his land and told him i was vassalizing and taking him to his capital (which I of course wouldn't)..

I wonder when ill catch up with that group again.
