I'm need your advice

Question is about post-WWII co-prosperety sphere and Philippines

Can we consider alternative, that after the victory of Japan ( And of co-prosperity sphere as well) in World War II, Filipino nationalists would rename the country, the cities and abolish the Spanish names as a reminder of European rule?

If I remember correctly, two years ago, president Duterte was also considering the idea of renaming the country.

Bonus question

Any ideas for Japanese Australia?

Australia, which is under the total control of the Japanese military ( Japanese Reichskommissariat)
or the Asian Vichy France, when large Aussie cities belong to Japan and the government (native Aussies) carries out all orders from Tokyo?
 
I think that RK Austalia is unlikely, since it would've been extremely hard for Japanese to controll the entire desert. I think that Vichy Australia is a more "realistic" thing, especially given that Japanese usually created collaboration governmets, not RKs.

Filipino's are an inclusive, traditional people with thousands of years of cultural influence. Be they from native Pacific Islanders to influences from China, Spain through America. The topic of names is tricky, as there isn't a singular or 'predominantly' native cultural influence upon which to draw from. Much different story than place-names in Europe for example.

Here's some food for thought on the subject of potential name changes.

  • Haring Bayang Katagalugan (Sovereign Tagalog Nation)
  • Kapatiran (Brotherhood)
  • Luzviminda (first syllables of the country's three major island groups)
  • Mahárlika (freeman)
  • Rizalia (Filipino patriot José Rizal, similar to Bolivia)

  • Basis for name-change: Since the official naming of the country as Philippines under American colonial rule, and even earlier as Filipinas (or similar names) under Spanish colonial rule, the primary reason for the country's name-change has always been "to break away from colonialism".
  • A holistically government-backed name has yet to be determined, although a pan-Malay word reflecting the nation’s island identity has been proposed as more appropriate, or one related to the archipelago's pre-Hispanic excellence in sailing and boat-building.

On the subject of Australia, whose modern cultural identity stems firmly from English influence it is highly, highly doubtful any names would be changed. Unless mandated by their new colonial overlords.

An Asian Vichy France? Easy enough, just add an "e" to the end of every place name in Australia! ;)

You could use this guy in the Japans Vichy Australia: Haruhiko Nishi 西春彦 He was a postwar Japanese ambassador to Australia during the mid 1950s. Perhapes a minister of security.

That link leads to group without any posts since spring. No idea if there is anything still in works or not. Either way, that crisis could have been avoided if Nikita would have been a bit less combative towards players reporting bugs.

2 - In 2022 (summer) I'm i graduated from university and now I am Journalist, interviewer and magazine editor (Medicine sphere)

I'm sorry but This job sucks my last free time and nerves

3 - About war : It's terrible. Can't expalin it. I'm in Moscow and i'm alive. I'm man without millitary expereience. I can only be on the battlefield in case of total mobilization. Dont worry



In February, I'll continue mod development (DIARIES !!!) because right now I'm have stable bussines schedule

I have to spend two weeks to remember ALL my skills. I almost forgot everything. Damn...

I hope that one day you will return to work on Peace without Victory (PvW) mod too. It's still the best Interwar period mod for DH.

Why?

In first days of war FB, Twitter and Instagram were blocked. War-Time censorhip.


There is no crime to use it, but VPN really sucks. And what the reason? Much better just follow Paradox rulles and post thousands of different diaries, like before.

My fault. I've made enough mistakes, especially in terms of politeness.

About bad news and final concept for new scenario

In September I'm decided to reinstall Windows and I'm LOST all my files for new version of Thunder.
Well, there is no problem. In just created new map for new scenario So I'm can do it again for 3 - 4 days


Let's remember my new scenario from my old diaries (2021)


Nazi Reich and Old Hitler, Dissolved USSR and new born Russian Warlods, Dissolved USA between pro-Japanese California and pro-nazi Amerika, Victorious Japan and it's puppets in Asia.

Who is who ?

Of course Hitler will die in coming months and Reich will fight for it's future.

Victorious Japan - literally Germany from Kaiserreich. Japan will have economic and social problems and national uprisings and Asia. Chinese warlords will form coalition, plus Jingwei's China and Manchuria will fight for re-unification of China

Plus Azad Hind, Empire of Vietnam, Burma and Greater Siam will fight in local conflits to be regional powers


So, before WWIII You will not have a country that has economic power of today USA, China and EU

RK Moskowien - AOG from Kaiserreich. You will have opportunity to intagrate RK Ukraine, Ostland, GG Polen and fight against Russian Warlods for the German security.

Is there TNO fans? You will have RK in borders of the Russian Empire with Burgundian system



Russian Warlods - You will have dozens of the different post Soviet states. And of course They're all will fight for new Russia and then take revenge

Confederation of the deported slavs (Poles, Czechs)

Communist Warlords

National-Communist Warlords

National-Socialist Warlords

Liberal Warlords

National Tatar State ( Golden Horde anyone ?)

Pro-Japanese Far-East.


America - Well, There will be a fight between two fragments - Good old America and pro-german Amerika ( shore line). Japanese California - sick man of America. Local Japanese will fight just to save it's state, but sometimes they will expand

And of course! Like I'm said before, it's just new scenario. No. I'll never remove good and old scenarios. Moreover, like i'm said before, Eurasian Union will have opportunity to invite Asian Communists and form Socialist Asian Union

Also in new version Soviet puppets in China will have opportunity for national uprising and form China in today borders

Rather than the confederation of the deported slavs , I would do a slavic union warlord

Well, In a case of successful unification you will have Siberian Yugoslavia for Western Slavs.
Only one faction that will have NATIONAL cores to Poland and Czech region.

Of course after nazi defeat you will have events about de-germanisation, struggle against nazi partisans ( Plan OST colonists ) and re-setelment from Siberia to home.

Warsaw and Prague much better that Vorkuta, huh ?

Also you will have mini game and opportunity to save your former lands in Russia

If you fail, you will have a state within the borders of the Polish Commonwealth on 17th century + Bohemia, Ukraine and Belarus, but without Russian region
