For all who care: As I just received an unexpected amount of workload (...gasp... ), I will have to take a time out in posting. I will still visit the forum on a regular basis in the meantime, though. I´ll also try to keep the bugslist updated at least. Just no major posting from me for a time.

We'll miss your posts Admiral H. Don't be gone too long as I've heard it whispered that a conspiracy is forming to edit the province files and downgrade all the forts in Brandenburg provinces to lean-tos and those for which Brandenburg has a CB to Vauban-style fortresses.

That would make it a 'tad' more challenging eh?

Thanks for caring, folks!

I just wanted to say something about the intended 'Unofficial Grand Campaign Projekt': When I was interrupted by that disturbing amount of work falling down on me like a ton of bricks, I was just about to prepare a lengthy post giving some general outlines of the intended project and how to procede, categorising things to be changed, adressing technical issues and so on. This will now have to wait, but it´s not forgotten! Expect me to come up with the 'kick off'- posting no later than the beginning of March. As a sideeffect the delay will solve the problem, that many of those, who are willing to contribute are still awaiting the release of the US/UK versions.

P.S.: A last word to those who doubt the usefulness of the project: Think of it as just another scenario, which is crafted by a multitude of players. We will have fun not just in the eventual playing of it but also (and even more) during the process of the 'making'. BTW: Johan told me, that there will be no 'official' changes to the GC anytime soon.
