Okay, yesterday and the day before, i noticed that whenever i change the speed to extremely fast, it goes the same speed as "fast". The other speeds remain the same, but "very fast" and "extremely fast" stay the same as "fast." What's going on?

Well I think the obvious answer is that very fast is as fast as the game will run on your system.

If you start a new game does that correct the problem for you?

Then the answer is as I originally stated, it is fast when you first start, then when the computer gets bogged down with the ever increasing amount of work and data tracking as the game progresses, it cannot handle it, and it's top speed it can achieve is reduced.
