Hmmm, Western Anatolia feels a little jarring, especially since it's the only area with that scheme

But I cannot think of a good alternative. If you were going off the Roman names (as seems to be the case eastwards) it would be Asia, which would probably be confusing.

Anyone else got any ideas?
Aegean or Lydia. In modern Turkey its the Ege Bölgesi which is Turkish translation of "Aegean Region".

To be fair, it was posted two months ago, the first reviews were much closer to the DD release than this one. But yes, there's some time to post it before we start the in-depth review.
We've been working on an in-depth feedback (rework and combination of two previous proposals) in a smaller team and we took our time because we assumed #6 and #8 will come before, so we didn't know that you'd start the in depth review this soon

Am I seeing it wrong from colors but are the Greeks in around Cappadocia Pontic rather than Cappadocian? It might be a color illusion but it would be strange indeed. I would personally put the separation of Cappadocian and Pontic Greeks at provinces of Bozok and Sivas, with those areas and north of it being Pontic and south of it being Cappadocian.
Coloring issue, the Cappadocians are to the west of Sivas and south of Bozok, as you mention.

We aren't just going to start working on it, as I said, so you might still have some time to work on it.

Would it be possible to rename the Greek culture to "Romioi" or at least have an option like how you can choose between the names for the Byzantium. This is because the Greeks at the time mostly called themselves that because they were all practically roman citizens. In addition to this there could be late game events that would slowly start converting the Romioi culture to Greek to show the revival of ancient greek identity that we got in our own timeline in the 18th and 19th century

think Lapseki was actually controlled by the Byzantine Empire, still. Someone mentioned this in the first Anatolia-thread, too. There was also a whole list of potential location-renaming posted by someone else, which may or may not have been overlooked.

Also, holy shit I'm anxious about that Balkan/Carpathian rework which is coming up next! Very curious about the results.

EDIT: I was sincerely mistaken, Laodikeia is not the same as Latakya. My bad. The Pamukkale is not really a source of salt, either. Removed that part of my post.
Yup, a quick research on Lapseki/Lampsakos (translating from both English and Turkish) yields the fact that it was taken from the Byzantine Empire by the Ottomans around the 1350's, when they first crossed the Dardanelles.

In general terms, we aren't going so deep in the addition of releasable countries, I'm sorry.
Well, that is very sad to hear. :(
Was there a change of approach when it comes to releasables? Because some time ago I thought that You were okay with that...
I mean, it was confirmed that there will be small, few locations releasables like Cornwall and others...

As I said in original post regarding the history of Lauenburg-Bütow and ideas behind adding it, I would be perfectly happy even if it was just a "bare bones" tag without additional flavor. Having it be recognized in a historical game in any form would be a big victory for my local history community by itself.
I just thought coding just another country in wouldn't be very difficult...

Is it a result of more tight deadline, so there is less time adding things, or is it something else?

In any way, I would kindly ask you to reconsider, even if it's just this once for this small addition.

And if not, can there still be hope for it in the future updates of Project Caesar?
