As much infantry as you can. Unfortunately, the game is much shallower than it looks. With any nation, you just overwhelm your enemies with infantry if you can get more of them.
This is actually true to an extent. If manpower is no issue, inf+arty is most efficient fighting force.

Supplement inf with couple MOT to exploit breakthrough. INF win battles, but MOT do the finishers through overrun, and quick land grabs.

Tanks are optional. If you have more IC than manpower, feel free to use tank. They are expensive but powerful breakthrough units against infantry doom stacks.

MECH are pretty bad.

CAV is also pretty bad, you use it because you often start with some.

Hey Do you know if it is possible to intervene in the Spanish Civil War as Germany without having to directly control Spain's troops? When I do the event I choose the option of not controlling Spain's troops but it doesn't let me send planes or troops directly to Spain

Well always I can upgrade cav to mot

You can upgrade inf to mot. What cav is good for is upgrade to armor. But then we are talking more of an exploit than unit itself.

DH manual, page 100 and following, especially page 103.

I am really helpful answering questions... from on a certain level.
I've read the vast majority and already have more knowledge about it, but is there one thing that the manual doesn't specify the hq itself counts as a unit? Type since it doubles the number of troops that a general can handle if I have 9 of inf and one of hq, does this count me as an extra unit or not? The correct thing would be for example to have 8 of inf and 1 of hq and then 9 of inf or 9 of inf the hq and another 9 of inf that's what I mean.

Air cav is OP but nobody play to 60s. My opinion only exist in WWII context.
Nobody plays to the 60s? I beg to differ. I have and might again in my current WC. I have also gotten aircav in the early 50s in my Draka AAR.

Hello, I would like to ask you what are the specific advantages of building radar stations. I know they give a bonus for aerial combat, but are there any other benefits? What is the difference if I build a lvl 1 or 3 or 10 radar? Is there any difference in radar range? Thank you for your reply

why is he saying mech is bad?
and cav? i assumed armored cav was decent as well
Mecs are slower than motorized and weaker than tanks. They are an efficient wild card but do not excel at anything; if you need to chase the enemy, motorized are better; if you need to defeat him, tanks are better. And also they are only unlocked in 1942, when the war is pretty much already decided one way or the other and you don't really have a need or a chance to get into producing them.

Their only advantage is a decent speed and ability to fight on any terrain, which is useful in areas like South America, Africa, the central and western United States, and Central Asia. But if you got to fight there it means that on the main fronts you have already won.

Cavalry is obscenely expensive in both production and research time. The resources you spend on getting to armored cavalry would be better spent on unlocking tanks or motorized. Vaguely useful only with Japan, which doesn't have much oil at first and is fighting in the tremendous Chinese infrastructure.
