I agreed that ship construction time is annoying long. Like if you want have any navy when war starts you better start building them at first day. Also since they are so long in your building menu they will almost certainly be delayed making them coming out roughly year later at time when Germany invades Russia.

Another thing... Italian special unit is human torpedo or what? Called maile or something like that. How should I use them or how they are intented to be used?

and I don't call it realistic to sabotage a ship's construction by spies... it should be almost impossible to sabotage such an important project. The ship build time is ok if there are no sabotages though.

I yesterday played and came 1 month before WW2, everything is so awesome!
:D
The nature colours is so-so, the old HoI is better I think but I must just to learn to play with them.

Just one question: Why did you change energy to coal?? :)

This is a mere cosmetic change.

Playing as UK, Nat.Spain joined Axis after the fall of France. I did have more than 6 naval units stationed in Gibraltar. Is this working ok?

Code:
	trigger = { atwar = no ai = yes
		NOT = { alliance = { country = GER country = SPA } exists = SPR }
                                event = 3002 # Intervention allemande pendant la GCE
		atwar = GER
		control = { province = 300 data = GER } # Berlin
                                OR = { control = { province = 56 data = GER } exists = VIC }
                                OR = {
                                            NOT = { control = { province = 19 data = ENG } }  # Londres
                                            AND = { NOT = { control = { province = 31 data = ENG } } NOT = { control = { province = 900 data = ENG } } }  # Suez/Malte
                                            AND = { NOT = { garrison = { country = ENG province = 348  type = naval size = 6 area = no } }
                                                           NOT = { garrison = { country = ENG province = 2428  type = naval size = 6 area = no } }
                                                           NOT = { garrison = { country = ENG province = 2429  type = naval size = 6 area = no } }
                                                           NOT = { garrison = { country = ENG province = 2430  type = naval size = 6 area = no } }
                                                           NOT = { garrison = { country = ENG province = 2431  type = naval size = 6 area = no } } # Pas de flotte UK autour de Gib
                                                           NOT = { ai = ENG } }
                                           }
}

Also, Romania AI shouldn't be willing to join Axis until the event specifically designed for it, otherwise I believe it will lose some of the historical events (I failed to notice them in the game log, I might be wrong).

I yesterday played and conquered Poland but lost 3 division:(
And when the BeNeLux event comes and DOW's I didn't had any troops there so when I came the French had fortified the north line.
So I loaded like 1 month before the event and fortified the benelux line.
And then I easily surrounded Belgium and the Netherlands.
And the north part of France where not defended so I went a nortcoast attack and went south to Paris.
But there I was stopped with 1 division vs mine 3!!
The battle took ages but the French managed to come and throw me back to the Belgian border.
Now I will restart a new WiF scenario and build up my army with infantry!
No submarines, just waste of IC and time;)

I build even battleships .... build some subs is more fair huh. I favour a more "historical" build as it's pretty cheating not building any ships...

And yes, infantries are far more important than an army of panzers before 1941... if you have 6 pz divisions by France it should be quite enough.

SPA into Axis was fixed (they allied via another event that I removed).
About ROM, could you please give me more details ? (date, savegame, solution you propose)

Thanks for the report :)

I took a look at the events, and in the situation Romania joins Axis before 4 September 1940, it automatically enters the war, and the following events will never occur:

- The road to Tripartite Pact (id = 799000)
- GER military mission in ROM (id = 799002)
- ROM join Axis (id = 799003)

The solution is to make the Romanian AI not willing to join the Axis. I don't know which solution is the best, maxing isolationism perhaps?

LE:

Looking at AI_ROM.txt, we have those events that must be removed or altered:
- Romania joins Germany because of Baklan Campaign (id = 32162)
- Romania invades Yugoslavia (id = 32163, id = 32164)
- Roumanie lowers neutrality to join Axis (id = 32166)

btw, rather stupid question, (I haven't played the latest version yet), are the texts fixed?

What texts exactly ?

Thank you very much. Events were removed or altered so that ROM-GER alliance should solely rely on your events now.

And on thing about the Finnish Winter War.
Finland didn't lost Petsamo after the Winter War, they did after the Continuation War.
So the peace event is wrong;)
Right shall be right:D

are you increasing your intelligence spending? they cost money to maintain(for each level)

trade for some money from the rest of world, or just trade them from Italy using some supplies(they got plenty)
