During my playthrough as Wessex and later England I noticed that most provinces in Anglo Saxon England have modern English names.

So my question is, is there a mod to add more title name changin that is compatible with CK2+? There is the mod called Schattenzeitalter on Moddb, however the author is probaby dead in a Cuban prison somewhere cos he hasn't been online since July this year and besides, his mod is for vanilla.

Those type of mods will almost always be completely incompatible with CK2+

You could use winmerge to find the title and culture bound to the title and then drag it from the mod to CK2+, e.g drag roman = Germania from Schattenzeitalter to CK2+ "landed_titles"

I'll try that. However, since CK2+ adds new provinces, I'd need to do some research.
