Titles messed up in MP?

When I play singleplayer, for the most part, everything works fine.

However, when I play MP, Byzantium somehow ends up with the Byzantine COA but called "Bulgaria". Germany kept the german COA and german army colors, but its name was showing as "Burgundy". This has happened in a half-dozen MP games and I can't think of a logical reason for it.
