Yes, I know. :) But apart from that 'message issue' it´s mainly the worsening of the diplomatic relations with catholic and even counterreformed countries, which was my concern.

Yeah I'm checking the board with great anticipation every day now :) Willing that shining bright light to light up the announcement thread :)

I am glad I am not the only one that looks at the announcement board every day with hope that they have somehow managed to release the game early. That board has been stuck at 21 for too long!

Hartmann,

My experience with bug 31 (troops emerging in Danish Skåne instead of Swedish Västergötland) was in an un-hacked campaign game playing Sweden in the Swedish version, so I think it can happen without hacking the files (but it seems awfully rare so I haven't ruled out that it was just my imagination :p).

I have a suggestion.
It would be rather pleasant if it would be possible to change the timescale in multiplayer. (as it is now you decide it when you begin the game and then you're stuck with it)
How about letting the 'server' be the one who only can change the timescale.

Or, you could let the one with the lowest set timescale be the current timescale.
I.e. Imagine 3 players, they all have the timescale set for 1min=1month, then two of the players increase it to say 1min=1year, but the first player still has it set on 1min=1month and hence the current timescale is 1min=1motnh until he raises it or somebody of the others lower it below 1min=1month.

But perhaps it is unfair to let somebody change the timescale in competive games, please atleast let it be an option to be able to change the timescale in-game instead of doing it once when you start a multiplayer game. It really would increase the fun in friendly LAN games. =)

Johan will not investigate this issue as long there´s no PROOF given by us regarding the occurence of #31 with unhacked files (i.e. unhacked incfiles, that is). So please keep a wary eye on this everyone!

I put this on the most wanted for EU' list, bu I fdigured that perhaps I should post it here as well:
YES!
Great topic. And I agree that if these canges dont fit inta EU2, then perhaps a cd -deluxe upgrade. there are a few things that I'd like to see cange: intreface:
a) a good easily scanned chart with all trade-centers and the current fleets. preferably with an option of preferred centers to send traders in, say a semi-AI.

b) Diplomacy, see realations with all other nations (scrolling might be recuired) at the same time, with both alliance and diplomatic options available _from that screen_.

c) a screen where I can access all diplomatic information regarding my country referring to others. IE wich marriages, enforced peace, casus belli, _and_ end dates for these things.

d) a screen for all my provinces and their status (population, trading-post etc.). and what is being and are already built there, preferably with the possibility to do these actions.

e) when a province is chosen, and I click on send trader or diplomacy, I would like the option to be regarding _that exact province_ insted of having to find it again.

f) a 'back' button. often I check countries religion, and then do diplomacy with them depending on their religion.

g) 'filters' Say thet i want to do trade actions, or diplomacy, or ckeck religion, or check fortresses, resources in region etc. it would be really nice if I could just impose the interesting filters with the important information on the world and do my deeds instead of checkong every procince itself.

h) religion of province should be displayed on info. and of course state religion of country.

i) A full display of the resources taken in by different countries.

j) and I would love if it were possiblr to _build_ infrastructure, ie better roads between 2 provinces. build a port (actually krlskron in sweden was created by order from the crown on the mid 1500, because sweden needed an ice-free naval port)

k) many many moire historical, or potentially historical random events.

Has anyone noticed this?

In the city screen, the pictures for the naval stores manufactory (or whatever it is in English, örlogsmanufaktori in Swedish) and the culture centre (kulturcentrum)seem to have switched places. So the culture thing is producing anchors and rudders and the other one something I can´t quite make out. However, this should be the very last little thing that gets fixed...
