United China is Strong China
With countless trucks full of soldiers off towards Xibei San Ma, our expanding industry just as well brought good news. Rapid progress brought new possibilities, one of them the mass production, or assembly line. Soon, hundred of thousands of weapons for the fight for liberty will be produced within short time.
Fleeing over the border into Mongolia, the local warlord couldn't be hold responsible. What an idiot. Supported the Republic well for years, and when he was about the become a part of the Reunificated Republic, he choose to fight. Well. His people are now cheering as our troops are marching through the countryside. The most part is done, from the mountains of Afghanistan to the yellow sea, from the Manchurian forests to the beaches of Sanya, the Republic has won it's struggle.
With our economy in a strong shape, more and more "friendship" offers are arriving. It seems that the Allies and the Russians are both trying to send us presents - they're in a deadlock struggle, with no side able to win, and they know they key for victory will be us on their side - or in the Russian case not against them. We take all help we can get, we're still years behind. For the moment, we stay neutral.
With great victory parades all over the country, this spring sees the biggest celebration ever being hold in China for a long, long time. In Nanjing, the newly opened subway line #1, the first ever built in our country, links up downtown with the Memorial from Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, and many, many use it to honor the founder of the modern Republic.
Finally, the movement back to Nanjing is finished. Some suggested to move to Beijing, but that's clearly a Communist idea.
Also, plans are going ahead to massively enhance the ressources we're able to gain from our own country. We're already needing imports, and with the industry growing fast, imports will stay high.
After all the celebrations, back to Business. Indochina, our friends in the South, are under heavy attacks from the Japanese. When we're getting hold of their ambassador, his report isn't very good. He told us they thought they could manage to hold the line, but eventually asking for some volunteers.
Early July, as much as 56 divisions of volunteers are crossing the border. Equipped with outdated equipment, even some local soldiers are pity them. Well. Their experience in the past will make up for all the equipment disadvantages. We beat the Japanese once, we can do it again.
Our secret service is able to deliver us quite accurate informations. Seems they're not much ahead in research. Having to replace all their armies certainly didn't helped them, either.
