damn that was good.

West or East - the conflict is slowly building up

The Austrian rebells, officially supported by the Western Allies, eventually were found guilty of crimes against humanity when some of their crimes were leaked.

98267801.jpg

Using those crimes as valid reasons to finally bring the Austrian people the nation they deserve, our forces marched into Graz.

62355694.jpg

Heavy rebell resistance slowed down the advance, and the lack of fighting for a long time let our brave men take a while to win the battle, but eventually the outcome was clear.

74502749.jpg

Over 1800 brave Chinese soldiers gave their life for the freedom of the Austrian people.

11644994.jpg

Within days, the rebellion was eventually crushed

96323015.jpg

And the new Austrian Republic could shine. Huge celebrations in Vienna and all other major Austrian cities, as Austria was joining the Free World.

89330821.jpg

Meanwhile in China, the first modern battletanks are finishing testing and are organised into the first mobile armored divisions. With many more of those tanks ready soon, we'll be able to defend the free world from the increasing tensions on this world.

35567187.jpg

Intercontinental rocket research is finally finished, now our rockets will be able to strike back at any target in the world from our rocket bases in China and Europe.

34731639.jpg

Just a few months after Austria has been liberated, we finally get the same opportunity with those rebells hiding in the swamps of Poland.

19551166.jpg

Quickly, our men move over the so called "polish border", to finish the puppet joke of the Allies..

93797512.jpg

2 days for Poland, this is what I call Blitzkrieg!

17837635.jpg

And with the rebells down, the real, free and democratic Poland can be created. Warsaw sees day-long celebrations of their independence.

Despite all the good news in the last months, British, French and especially American diplomatic actions are a big danger for world peace.

With the talks about the future of American-Macao and British-Singapore to start soon, the world will see soon what the future will be about.

Sorry about the long-time not posting. Was a month abroad, visiting free Malaysia and China, and checking out the defenses of Australia ;) Thanks for all your comments

Oh wow wasn't expecting another.

And now for some statistics.. because everyone loves boring statistics

With the British, well - Empire is probably too far-stretched by now - pressed hard for concessions over Singapore, their population votes Winston Churchill and his conservative party back to power. Quickly, all talks about handing over Singapore to freedom are cancelled and British troops are parading through Singapore, showing that they won't allow demonstrations of the huge Chinese majority.

In Autumn 1951, the Chinese army for the first time ever reaches more men in duty then the combined forces of the two strongest allied nations, the United States and Great Britain. With all nations strongly investing into their armies, numbers are expected to grow quickly.

The first all-mobile air divisions entering service, using the first helicopters built for army usage. Some of the men arming the chopters are veterans of the brave cavalry divisions that attacked Soviet tanks many years ago.

Elisabeth II is taking power as Queen of England on the 6th February 1952.

84129035.jpg

Well, it's not like she is the first leading Head of State, we've been much earlier in this regards.

30292636.jpg

Spring 1952 sees our industrial output reaching a level so gigantic barely anyone can believe it. During the last few years, economic growth was massive, and now all the factories need ressources, which are getting more and more scarce as apparently both British and American traders try to get them traded away from us.

23622143.jpg

Western allies: 28 carriers (22 US, 4 UK, 2 French) - Eastern Allies: 23 carriers (20 Chinese, 3 Japanese)

in all other categories, massive advantage for the Western allies.

38896371.jpg

Even the combined airforces of China and Japan could hardly scratch any Allied operation. This is were the Western Allies enjoy their greatest advantage.

31294180.jpg

Libya becomes independant. I'm sure they'll regret this action in a couple of decades..

81785529.jpg

Venezuela joins the (Western) allies. We could have used that oil well too, you know. But for the moment, we're still all (officially) friends..

Jeez thats alot of IC.

Preparing to bring peace to the world

With the British refusal to free Singapore, it became clear that they won't accept the very legimate claims that the Chinese population there had. Just a few weeks later, Chinese residence of Melbourne who were members of the KMT Australia were arrested for "treason", despite not having done anything. Strong protests in front of the Australian parlament were removed by policy forces, injuring several of the protesters, including two children. When those news reached China, people demanded more and more to intervene. For the moment, we're still allied with those so called "Democratic" powers, but plans to end this alliance are created by now. We're just hoping to get more friends on our side, then they can enlist on their side.

As rockets will be a highly-inefficent way to bring their industry down, more advanced strategical bombers are put into research.

Adlai Stevenson wins a landslide victory over Nixon in the 1952 elections. Despite early hopes, he also refuses to hand over Macao to it's rightfull owner, and Chinese citizen there are kept as prisoners of the American occupation forces.

By early summer 1953, our army enhancement program was almost finished, almost 600 divisions or 30% more than the combined forces of Britain and the US were available for their country. Some more trucks, helicopters and other specialised equipment still in production, but now our men needed to be trained into their final formations.

84952569.jpg

Missile research is kept on full speed ahead, creating more weapons to bring peace quicker to the world.

52973022.jpg

And to keep our cities safe, massive SAM batteries are put into production.

The area between Beijing and Tsingtao in late August 1953. While tank divisions were training in the plains of Tianjin, elite forces trying paradrops in Beijing, mountain divisions climbing in the hills and infantery marching on the roads, the whole area had become a gigantic military camp. From the mere begin in the 1920s to today, the modern Chinese army has outgrown anything thought possible.

54979522.jpg

September 4th, 1953, military status prior to the movements:

All training has been finished. Another 70 divisions had entered service over summer, are in the process of being added to one of our army groups.

90660760.jpg

While in numbers alone not much behind the USN, half of our navy are unarmed transports. At least carrier-wise we've almost catched up, as around a third of theirs are relatively weak supporting carriers. Battleships and heavy cruisers, they've still a strong lead, but eventually our drydocks will spit those queens of the sea out at numbers they can't cope with.

81846024.jpg

The darkest field, the airforce. Besides airplanes, we're even more lacking pilots and officers to lead the squadrons into battles. We've already more squadrons than able leaders to guide them, so we'll have to use our squads at more than anyone would otherwise allow, then exchange the leaders to fresh squads while his original formation is refitted. And still, we will be nowhere to achieve air superiority. It hopefully will be enough to keep the enemy bombers away on most fronts.

86072431.jpg

Oh by the way, are flying bombs/rockets even useful?

The longest day

8am: Got to work. 600 divisions, 250 ships and 80 airplanes to move and organise
11pm: Somehow finished. Well. Giving them 200 Yuan each should do the trick. Train tickets are on sale now. Who needs logistics, my soldiers are smart enough.

The situation around 6 month before we shall start liberate the people of the world.

80461005.jpg

On a cold 1st February, our ambassador to the United Kingdom brought Winston Churchill a message. "We hereby have enough of you so called "Allies", we're founding our much better Pacific and Atlantic Treaty Organisation (PATO). Hours later, whatever left of the Allies were officially founding the London Pact.

25164404.jpg

As you can see, the Republic of China is a very peacefull country, now leader of the PATO. More pressure is put on the US and the UK to solve the conflict peacefully, but so far without success. Singapore and Macao need to be freed.

40570570.jpg

The leader of the London Pact, the United Kingdom. Not peacefull at all, and much more conservative.

34515933.jpg

The situation right before we're entering Downing Street 10 with the announcation that unjustice will no longer be tolerated.

14058111.jpg

There officially exists a state of war between the Republic of China and it's allies and the United Kingdom and it's allies from 11am on the 17th March.

41588619.jpg

Now this is what I call a world war.

63260343.jpg

Strategies:

Given our limited amount of naval and air power, we've to concentrate our forces.

England is a fortress, and any direct landing will be meeting massive counterstrikes, thus our army staff has created a gigantic landing operation using all three branches. Elite paratroopers will take the highlands of Scotland, allowing our armies to make landfall and establish a beachhead, while our navy will try to stop the Royal Navy from interfering.

Agains the lowlands and France, a massive Panzer thrust supported by 200 divisions infantery will break through the London pact forces and reach Paris as quickly as possible, then further advances to American Spain and a complete occupation of Northern France.

Africa will be liberated using a taskforce which will redeploy as soon as Singapore has fallen. First target will be to liberate the Arabian peninsula, Iraq, then along the coast down to South Africa. Around 30 divisions will be used for this task.

Australia will be taken by air mostly, with 17 helicopter divisions supported by some motorized troops will take on them. They'll get more support once the Island hoping North by Task Force Pacific is finished, and once done so, New Zeeland will also be on the list. Eventually, those troops will reorganise to push against Hawaii.

This is the original plan for the first 3 month of war. Now, let's bring reality into the game.

92838501.jpg

Macao and Singapore are easy to liberate, with almost their whole population playing 5th column for us, the London Pact troops stand no chance.

The London Pact counter-attacks

As the attack came not very surprising for the British and French high command, their reaction was swift.

Churchill, having worked till late the night before the PATO liberation started, was awakened the minute Chinese paratroopers jumped out of their planes on the Scottish highlands. Half an hour later, all roads were filled with tanks and trucks driving Northwards, with all but the very last train filled with British soldiers travelling towards Edinburgh and Glasgow.

In the lowlands, the French were preparing together with Belgian divisions to counter-attack the Chinese-DDR soldiers as soon as they've moved out of their starting positions and were getting vulnerable.

But, of course our clear advance in numbers can destroy even the best defensives.

Dutch troopers fighting under French command getting their first combat experience near Eindhoven.

43843536.jpg

The initial airdrop is a success, with our brave men securing the naval base of Scapa Flow (the British fleet manages to escape) and Aberdeen. Army will try to quickly connect the landing sides and enhance troop numbers.

41506814.jpg

Macao is free! With the American occupation troops attacked from all sides, they quickly capitulate.

73660735.jpg

While Aberdeen is successfully defended, our troops in Scapa Flow are under constant attack. A massive thrust towards Inverness will hopefully reach them before the British manage to breakthrough North.

18439019.jpg

Singapore is free! Just as in Macao, the foreign troops stand no chance against both our attacking troops and the 5th colomn of the KMT.

41968449.jpg

The Royal Navy engages our Republican navy in an attempt to gain time to crush the landings. For the moment, they are successfull with their delaying actions.

46544953.jpg

Singapore is officially becoming an independant nation and PATO member. All hail the Merlion!

19041456.jpg

The tank battle of Antwerp, despite having inferior material and numbers, the French are hitting hard into our lines, delaying the attack for a day and forcing us to bring in some reserves. We've plenty of them, though.

95053979.jpg

The British Army quickly manages to engage our troops trying to break out of Aberdeen. Any attempt to move South are definitely blocked by now.

30453807.jpg

The Netherlands are the first London Pact nation to be annexed, as our troops didn't only took the Netherlands itself but also added the Dutch Indonesian islands to their proper owner, Indonesia.

67092410.jpg

I think now would be the best time to form a United Kingdom of the Netherlands after we annex Belgium

Les Chinois à Paris (Link to IMDB)

The Australian troops in Katherine were in for quite a surprise on this sunny March morning when the noise of thousands of helicopters came in loud and louder by the minute. Soon, a gigantic armada of chopters were dropping the Chinese mobile landing party, causing havoc in the Australian defense. The battle for Australia was open.

49224503.jpg

The poor paratroopers that did secure Scapa Flow couldn't be defended and after many of them fell in a hopeless battle become British prisoners. Not for long, we'll free you, soon!

57177221.jpg

The situation on the 25th March. France is throwing it's last reserves into battle, but the massive numerical superiority of the PATO forces is simply pushing them backwards.

36240148.jpg

A costly battle is won and Ghent token, and while it cost us more than them, this is breaking the neck of the French army.

37063470.jpg

Chinese troops parade on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

78626037.jpg

Another battle is won, the French morale is dropping after many lost battles and their tank armies crushed.

Bhutan is liberated before month end, no battleships for you this time (loved that AAR!)

13270448.jpg

In the pacific, the US fleet engages our Navy and is actually sending us packing. Their fleet seems to be on course towards Mainland China, so the homefleet is sent on it's way to stop the Americans.

88037530.jpg

Near Guam, the combined Chinese and Japanese home fleets meet the American invasion navy. A heavy battle starts, with the superior aircraft carrier Amagi bringing victory to PATA. The American fleet is retreating under air cover towards Guam.

82821323.jpg

Advancing quickly, our helicopters have to slow down from time to time as fuel transport can't keep up with them. Borroloola is taken. When our troops reach the town, they wonder how a huge district was named after not more than a few houses spread around. With our base build up in Katherine, hopefully the supply lines will improve drastically.
