To the Devs: "Pushing the Envelope" Any spare commands available to link to hoi-?

With the recent discovery of how to mod the counters for dh, but as yet only globally (for all countries), I've searched what I think were all the possible commands within Darkest Hour to see if there were any possible way of controlling access to the hoi-counter-strip.

I didn't find any.

Devs: can you think of any way, are there any spare commands not used, are there any roundabout ways of linking a country to it's own version of the hoi-counter-strip.

Even if only for the 6 major powers. Would be gaming nirvana if this was so.

MartinBG: Most likely you programmed DD to DH(?), giving extra commands for eg. Decisions and Claims etc ... any possibilities of doing this?

IIRC it is possible. Just make counters with the whole strip; 992x34 instead of 64x34.

Really! Trial and error method to see what counter applies to what country? DH uses only 31 counters, I presume some would be spare for future uses? Good News though, THANKS

edit: Everything works in packets of 32? .. so could 33 be the start of another country?
