Toast says 'King William has become your new liege, but you don't know why!'

Description​

Playing as Duke Gyrth of East Anglia at the 1066 start date, Duke William of Normandy won the war for England, and I received a toast saying "King William has become your new liege, but you don't know why!"

A few years later, King Harald of Norway won his ongoing war against now-King William, and I got the same notification: "King harald has become your new liege, but you don't know why!"

I briefly attempted to search for what happened, but didn't find anything. The first time it happened it was May 1068, and the second it was June, 1071. I played the game pretty passively, so I don't know if I had an effect on the result or not. I have attached images of it happening and a save game, though the save game is about ten years too late, that's my bad.

Steps to reproduce​

1. Have Harold III Godewinson lose his war against Duke William of Normandy
2. Have King William lose his war against King Harald of Norway
