I am starting this thread to list historical inaccuracies I've discovered while playing DH. These may or may not be fixed by modding, depending on whether I have the time or desire to fix them.
In January 1936 the British Home Fleet was commanded by Roger Backhouse, not Bertram Ramsay (misspelled in DH as "Ramsey")
The China Station was commanded by Charles Little (not available in DH), not Louis Mountbatten
This and further entries will reflect issues I've found while playing the Total Realism Project mod v1.03.B The above accuracies also apply, the admirals mentioned are wrongly distributed in TRP as well. I should note however that the order of battle seems to contain the correct numbers of ships and they are correctly named. I suppose this was quite some amount of work.
The Queen Elizabeth battleship was in the Mediterranean fleet between 1929 and 1937. It is in Portsmuth instead, in the Reserve fleet. Info from wikipedia. It may be that she was being refitted in January 1936?
Admiral William Fisher should be in command of the Mediterranean fleet at the beginning of 1936 (link).
Although the designer can set certain leaders for formations the AI will just randomly redistribute them. It is best not to assign leaders at all i believe.
