Don't we still have to live with the isolation tech penalty for not knowing enough countries? Or is that capped when there are less than 20 countries in?

I'll post one immediatly when/if the GM's tell which country I will take control of I hope to get New Sparta of course, but if the GM's have found a player for them I would be happily accept Songhai, Incas or China

(In other words, the GMs did not think of that issue beforehand and are not going to try to adjust the scenario at this late date to change something that substantial as it is way too much work with lots of opportunities for typos and the introduction of errors in the scenario in general. If it turns out to give those tagged as Catholics too much of a qualitative advantage, the others can just gang up on them. This is the final word from the Co-GM unless the primary GM overrides me.)

not THAT hard, really

just run a search/replace{in province.csv} for catholic protestant or whatever religion it is you want to get rid off, replacing it with pagan, and define all starting provinces in the scenario file as having the correct religion (which is done already for quite a few countries)

You think adding a link saying religion = "sunni" (for sake of arguement) to every single province in the scenario file is an untrivial task???

No, what I suggested is make EVERY province in the game Pagan (in the province.csv) , THEN in the scenario definition file define the currently owned provinces to the religion they should be (which you already did for a few countries anyway, unless you're telling me you did that in the province.csv)

As I don't have the faintest idea how much work the religion thingy would require, but there are people who say it is easy to do, then maybe somebody could just do it and say "Hey, I did it, the corrected .csv file can be downloaded from here"?

ALL province religions have been changed to EXOTIC (=pagan)
and since the scenario allready defines all the inhabited province's religion just adding this should erase the bonus for catholics (or whoever has the luck to be dumped in his religion's area)

what the? Last I checked the temple was still there

EDIT: I know for a fact that it was still there after the rebels took it, so that would mean that the recapture of the province by loyalists made the temple dissapear


and damn Odysseus and Medea- their little 'joke' cost me 5 stab... (I was at war, so I didn't check WHO declared war on what ally, so I got hit with the defensive alliance bug )

Orion is most likely poorer still, as besides losing 2 provinces, my hero, and an ally, I have 4 lagloans too


And FAL is an evil gangbanger, how else can one explain that the alliance he attacks has 1 member annexed, another lose 1 provinces, another lose 2 (Besides them both losing a LOT of income), and one of which I don't know how bad it was..
