Hi,

This seems to be a persistent bug.

I have 2 separate metro lines in Tokyo - Scenario 2.

The lines intersect and share one station.

I have around 100 to 150 people on both platforms.

When around 60 or 70 people get onto a train at that station, they generate either zero, or minimal, income.

The green number which normally appears above a train when people board is not there, or appears and shows income for 2-3 people (instead of the 60-70 that it should ...), and the current balance on the top left of the screen does not increase either.

This bug is persistent for any shared station, and I've also noticed the same bug seems apparent for two stations within the same catchment area (where the known issue of people teleporting between stations has been reported).

Has this been raised before?

People who change lines but stay at the same vehicle type don't pay again. so if people change metro lines at that station, you won't get much income at that station. It's a feature not a bug. :)

Thanks for the input. :)

Must be a feature of Japanese transportation systems ... on European systems, people pay again for the same type.

My shared tram stations in the European scenarios always generate money per person boarding. As do my shared bus stations and metro stations.

Might have to re-assess my approach for the Tokyo scenarios then - only share transport stations of differing types.

EDIT: Oh me gosh! I've just gone back and loaded up one of my Vienna cities to check. The same thing is happening! How on earth have I managed to complete the entire 12 scenarios and a couple of sandbox games and not notice that!

Geez I'm a dimwit sometimes.

Never mind, move along, nothing to see.

This worked like that before the Tokyo expansion pack. :)

In Europe the fare method is different in many cities, not mentioning different countries. :)

BTW, if i don't watch, i don't realise it either and i learned this ticket system of the game from this forum also. :)
So this in itself doesn't prove that you're a dimwit. ;-)
