Disclaimer, not my idea, but an idea from AnemoneMeer on Discord, posted with her permission. My notes are in Italic

Core theme is mortality and healing manipulation. Keyword is Bloodied, which is triggered when a unit drops below 50% HP. Gives a passive empirewide that enables the Bloodied status. Bloodied could give a debuff, but it would have to be a weak one like -1 def/res to make them more vulnerable to being picked off. Or make it make Temp HP decay.

Special Province Improvement is a vampire manor that does vampire manor things.

Presumably some kind of dark foreboding thing that does vampire things :)

Unit would be Blood Countess. T4 support. Enters battle with a summoned bat. Reclaiming strikes. Free action charm vs unit at 50% HP with a base 90% success rate. Can kill an allied unit below 50% HP to raise more bats, with a leave 1 AP effect to ensure you still get reclaiming strike off.

(Presumably something with a frilly dress ?)

Racial transformation causes units within X hexes (possibly adjacent) to heal when a unit dies or takes bleed damage. More healing from death than from bleed procs.

Give your unit red eyes, pale skin, and maybe horrible vulnerability to holy magic.

Unit enchantment gives units bleed chance on hit and bonus damage vs Bloodied targets.

Weapons that look like they are made of blood ?

Combat spell 1 would be a damage spell. Deals more damage vs bloodied. Heals nearest wounded ally within X hexes for damage done. (Transfusion).

My personal opinion is that it shouldn't work on golems.

Larger spell to inflict a blood rain on the battlefield to inflict wide area bleeding.

Bloodbath is actually a warlord spell returning from AOW3

This is a very cool concept; I always wanted to make a vampiric faction in the game too. I would love to see a new tome, maybe a T3 or T4, dedicated to vampire-related magic with a new Major Vampiric transformation too!

The closest thing we have to that is the tome of revelry, but I am sure that could be expanded upon further. The related affinities could be a mix between chaos and shadows.

I like the manor, but I don't believe that a debuff that works against units with half their health already gone would be a strong one. Such a debuff would at most be something you would take later in the game.
