It says King in character select but once you start a game his title changes from King to Queen.

It also seem to affect common lords as this lord Tywin is referred as 'Lady'

I've seen it with Robert too. It was odd since he kept going back and forth, actually. I suppose being defeated in his rebellion on the first go unmanned him.
