Yep, Genoa needs a small boost.

Granted I used them to beat everyone up, but Sicily with LT5, Infra 3 and 4 manus that early is sick and France GC like.

I'd happily take on development duties for Genoa next.

What improvements Genoa gets at the start of the campaign, if any, are entirely your domain though, Archduke. More starting provinces may not be a bad idea however... perhaps Malta and/or Istria.

Malta is genoese already. Istria might be an idea, I am also tempted to make Mantua, Emilia and Marche indepedent again..

MM- I have an 'monarchs file' for Genoa almost completed - but it is mostly ripped off RL history, so if you have any other plans for Genoa you can do your own, but else I can complete them or let you do it as you feel best.

(I actually took upon me genoa a few days ago, but I haven't had time to do anything more )

(AD - tell me again, why should I _not_ choose to get greek culture in that sicilian event? - maybe give greek in action_c too, and give a CB on every italian-cultured province + then some in action_b?)

I am working on balancing that out atm..

I am contemplating between isles + greek
Tunisia + arabic
and massive italian cbs.

Hmm.. my first thought was that arabic was a way better culture, but then I realized that you won't get manpower for those provinces (unless you are already winning) so I guess that can be reasonable.. maybe just 2-3 CBs to go with that though, instead of the 4-5 to go with greek and 10-12? with no culture at all? (Maybe a luxury mfg with italian too?)

I'm pretty much right where you are, Nikolai. There is a lot I'd like to do, but no time to do it all.

Concerning Genoa: If you have the monarchs covered -- run with it. I didn't really have anything specific in mind for Genoa and I'll still contribute ideas for leaders and events in the near future, unless someone else claims exclusive ownership.
