I'm usually hesitant to post 'my anecdotes,' but right now I'm convinced this game is out of balanced for reproduction/death rates. My dynasty can barely continue. Other dynasties are constantly extinguishing, or going years and years without any heirs. Quite unplayable at the moment unless you are going to force stuff to happen.
 
Its a fertility issue. Someone messed with it, and someone ALSO made it so that the infertile trait is a literal coinflip. IDK why they did it, thats just bad design, but they did.

If it makes you feel any better, that's something that will absolutely be revisited.
 
to clarify, are the fertility rates in general going to be revisited or jut the infertile trait, or both? Thanks for all the work you guys put into the mod.
