I would suggest using TextPad, a pretty good program that offers a quick comparison of files, text or hex, and which has a free trial version you can download.
I've answered you Faello by PM. However, I didn't understood correctly your question. TO compare 2 files, I'm using "xdiff" which is a Unix/Linux program. Directly (and quickly) show which lines is different.
My suggestion was Crimson editor. I'm not sure you can compare 2 files with it.

Well, I'm checking savegames from time to time, but I'd like to do it all the time so...
Helpful Suggestion: Learn Perl and write a tool that automatically verifies the files in the scenario directory and points out where or if they differ from eachother.
