[0.7.0 and superior info :
Just saw one thing for Paradox new launcher, the dlc_load.json file isn't created by the Paradox launcher if missing.

So if you have a clean install (or never used mods with new launcher), before launching PMM, start the launcher and activate a mod with it. Paradox launcher will generate the missing file.

Hi,
During January 2017, I released a little mod manager for Stellaris (https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/994228/) but when I see that other Paradox Interactive's games use the same modding structure I decided to migrate to another project! So welcome Paradoxos Mod Manager!

Paradoxos Mod Manager is a java application which can be used to manage your mods in recent Paradox Interactive’s games: Crusader Kings II, Europa Universalis IV, Stellaris, Hearts of Iron 4 and Imperator Rome.

I develop this app because I often have lots of mods and games with differents list of mods activated on Stellaris, and enable/disable each mods of a savegame before I launch my game was very boring…

I'm glad to see this made a general tool.

I know, i'm thinking about that since i start my migration from Stellaris to Paradoxos. But before that i would have to make proper comments in my code ^^

For now two reasons :

The first one is github isn't an admin-approved link.

And i just say i want to comment my code before ^^

Update to beta 0.2.0
- possibility to change documents path
- begin support for mod load order (see doc)
- a little modification in the xml structure (where user lists are saved) → structure is auto-updated when you save a list

IMPORTANT : Be careful with mod order when you select your mods ! This is still in dev ! The mod order applied in the game will be the order you select each mods. (see more in the documentation, google drive or in the downloaded archive)

Hi, a little time since the previous update... :D

Update to beta 0.3.0
- Add system file browser to select document’s path of a game
- Mod load order aborted because no way to force it.
- Add Import/Export options (i think it would be more useful for Stellaris and HoI4 because they use steam workshop)
- More errors traced in the debug txt file
- Fix the "LaunchWindows.cmd"
- Fix some very minor bugs

Hi,

As @MiniVera advice i make a packed version of Paradoxos. These archives have a java 8 jre bundled with an executable launcher (exe for windows and script for unix)

So there is a beta version for 0.3.1 (yes a beta version of a beta app... betaception ^^) : REMOVED

Info :
  • The app is exactly the same as 0.3.0
  • To keep your saved list copy all game folders (like "Stellaris", "Europa Universalis IV"...) from the previous installation and paste it in the new folder

Hello, is is still managed? I was so happy to find that there is mod manager for Stellaris and then so disappointed when I found out that it can't read mod info for whatever reason. Even if it seems to find my mods (Mods found: 61), if i try to create modlist, I just see MOD MISSING errors all over.

When you see the list of "Mod Missing", is there a debug file generated in the app folder ? Can you send it ? :)

Sure. Was suspecting my firewall being overprotective so manager cant pull info from Steam, but even with disabled firewall same thing happened.

The ModManager don't use internet or steam directly for now (it just open the web browser when you right click on a mod for Stellaris and HoI 4, or it launch the game trough the steam uri api after application of a list).

It's strange because the app detect your mods... but can't open the files, as you can see with all those lines type in the DebugLog :
Code:
2017-04-15 15:21:57 : TYPE ERROR MESSAGE
Unable to open ugc_905434289.mod ! File is missing or corrupted !

Can you give me the path you use (at launch) and check if it's the same printed with the mods found.
You can check if the files don't have specific read/write rights (try launch the tool with admin rights)

Instead of default "C:\Users\NAME\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\" path I'm using "D:\My Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris".
Mods what are found are certainly located at D: drive and Mod Manager is showing right path. I'm only user of this PC (W7) and also admin. Mod Manager itself is located on D: drive too.

Update:
Out of curiosity I tried to copy Stellaris folder to default location on C drive and Manager works with default path! So why doesn't it like my non-default path? I'd prefer keep my Documents folder off from main drive, like it's been last 6 years :)
My friend also tried Mod Manager and couldn't get it to work, but he doesn't use default My Documents path too. So we both have same problem

Just wondering if load order is within the scope of this project or if that is a change PDS has to commit to making possible?

We will try to find a solution for mod load order ^^

Update to beta 0.4.0 :
- Welcome to @Mouchi in the developpement
- Add option to set game language for a list of mods, all list are set in English as default
- Add online check for new version, when app is launch it make a request online and print a dialog window if a new version is found
- Now it should be impossible to modify/apply/delete/export when there is no list selected (to reduce error logs)
- Fix a bug where mods were missing in the settings.txt after apply
