Tournament - board game ends "inconclusevily" after semi finalist dies

Description​

My char has 100% chances in one of the semi finals, after picking an option it says the other semi finalist that won died after he won. Then the board game gets "cancelled", there are no winners at all.

Steps to reproduce​

load the save, pick top option, read next event dialogue on screen and notice the board game it's over without a winner.
