Well to "fix" this you need to build stuff not so close to one another. I would recommend using this park to make the tram stations. Cims walk quite a lot to shift from one route to another. You don't need to make them so close.

You might want to take the bus stops on the right of the tram line out of their current locations and put them e.g. above. Then you can make the trams cross the small street, go through the park and enter the bigger street farther.

I've seen this problem before, it's that bowl of spaghetti that is the problem. Remove some of the excess tram tracks, in the upper left and reroute them down the wide avenue instead. It will mean a different area gets served, but it will also reduce that traffic jam at the intersection.
