So this is my first Vehicle model I'm trying to get to work however the texture always appear wrong in the game. The first picture shows how it should look.

When in the Asset Editor I have to change the materials to white since the train always seems to open as orange. Once that's done I do the normal things like adding the lights and defining passenger capacity and speed, than save.

Now when I try to use it in the game this happens and I have no idea why. I've tried turning color variation on and off, and changing the material colors but nothing seems to stop this from happening.

Adding a fully black color mask should get rid of any interference from the color settings, which probably causes the purple color.
Also, your illumination map isn't set up correctly, as it treats the entire train as a 'headlight'. Try using rgb values of 122 (works for me, and although I suspect it's not exactly right it does get rid of this effect) as the 'neutral' value for unlit areas, e.g. everything that's not a light or window. Windows that light up at night should be anything below that, about 70 works I guess. Try some values to get the brightness you want.
