transferring 'king' title

I just started a new game as King of England (and Duke and Count of various areas), and as a matter of playing around I tried to transfer the title of 'king' to one of my vassals. The title showed up under the 'grant title' tab but nothing happened when I clicked on it (when I clicked on a 'Duke' and 'Count' title to transfer a confirmation window popped up). I tried transferring it to several individuals, both Dukes and Counts.

Is there some rule that prevents me from transferring my (only) King title or is this a bug or something similar?

You can never grant away your primary title, in this case your kingtitle.
