Transport glitch?

So, I'm playing as germany right now, and I decided to invade Denmark and Norway. I decided to try to make an amphibious landing on Århus, but it says that my transport (based in Rostock) do not have enough range to reach it, even though it says the range is <400 km. Is this just another glitch, or am I missing something?

possibly, because Denmark control this sea from its territory.
You just can't cross it.
and there is no other way.

Well, you could do it from wilhelmshaven but copenhagen controls the straits that your baltic ports would have to cross.
If you wait for the event (you may have) to bring you to war with those two nations you just have to snag a single border hex of denmark and theyll surrender in a day or two. Freeing you to normally amph norway from any port.

I could get my transports to float offshore of Århus, but it simply wouldn't do the amphibious assault mission. Anyway, the reason I was trying it was that I wanted to annex Denmark before the event would fire that gave Iceland and Greenland to the US. Does anyone know if this is possible?

IIRC: Just dont go up Jutland to Kolding. DK will surrender/stand down after a few days if u just take this first nabour provins - and thereby u will not get Iceland and Greenland . Make a landing (u can attack from Lubeck if u control the strait there) in CPH and take the provinces needed for annex - might just be CPH/Zealand. That way u get it all and actualy if u annex with tech team take over u will have heisenbergs teacher; Niels Bohr, as a superior tech team on nuclear power devellopment a few years . He will eventualy escape to the US.
