Transylvanian Nights

@Sumaragi- Damn straight.
@Beleg- Thx Again bro.
@Thundergate- Good plan.... I prolly shoulda used it. lol.

--My WIFI card died a few days back, got to a sprint store and replaced it today finally--

You may call this the Asian Update.

With the French rocking on their heels from their defeat in Italy, and the Brits and Spanish being forced to take a step back from being smacked around a bit as well, King Carol II & Co. decide it is time to spend a little time capitalizing on the gains we've fought so hard for over the last year and a half. Additionally, China goes apeshit this post.

Weeks after their declaration on Tibet, NC makes another enemy:
ScreenSave1-2.jpg

Not satisfied with simply starting wars, NC exercises its ability to talk a little smack.
ScreenSave2-2.jpg

Our new defenses are coming along handily:
ScreenSave3-2.jpg

Consider this a 'before' image for NC:
ScreenSave4-2.jpg

If you look at the gamelog, you can see why we desperately need to develop a defensive umbrella and establish air superiority.
ScreenSave5-2.jpg

And another one.
ScreenSave11-2.jpg

Apparently it's working for them, however:
ScreenSave12-2.jpg

Okay, I have NO effin clue when Japan and Russia went to war. But, apparently, it happened. And Russia's allies are the ones suffering.
ScreenSave15-2.jpg

9 months after securing the Italian mainland, the armies of Romania once again March to the Drums of War.
ScreenSave16-1.jpg

Our new and improved airforce proceeds to fly interception and occasionally bombing missions while our strident armies do what they do best, conquer.
ScreenSave17.jpg

Varna and Pleven fall. Our armies march towards Vraca and prepare to launch a strike on Sofia.
ScreenSave19.jpg

China continues kicking ass.
ScreenSave20-1.jpg

We make our move on Sofia, and prove victorious.
ScreenSave22-1.jpg

50,000 Bulgarian bums are captured in Vraca. Unfortunately, some of our forces are driven from Sofia.
ScreenSave23-1.jpg

Our Army, outnumbered and tired from the War- but with high spirits, attack the last holdout Bulgarians, overcome the numerical difference, and take 110,000 more prisoners.
ScreenSave25-1.jpg

ScreenSave26-1.jpg

Our Commanders and Ministers are pleased with the way the offensive went, but are quite annoyed with the Greeks for their gall in taking Istanbul and Kavala while we were fighting the Bulgars.

Another update tomorrow.

Just started reading this AAR; the epicness can not be contained!

Also, the US hasn't joined in the fun, has it?

Greece shall PAY FOR THEIR CRIMES!!! How dare they control the access to the Black Sea and the land-gate to Asia! Punish them!

If you look at the gamelog, you can see why we desperately need to develop a defensive umbrella and establish air superiority.
A 20-days dug-in infantry practically takes no damage from air attacks. (-60% for attacker)

Transylvanian Nights

@Soviet- Not yet. The US, Japan, and Russia are throwing their spies around fairly often though.

@Thunder- Yessss! It's not just the troops I'm worried about tho, its the constant material and IC loss. Annoying pinpricks.

@Beleg- Glad ya approve.

The Bulgar's give up the battle and immediately our forces begin to disperse based upon terrain and need. Obviously taking up positions around the Grecian territory.
ScreenSave27-1.jpg

In an effort to increase the power the Romanian Infantry and Cavalry packs, we've begun recruiting brigades of artillerymen.
ScreenSave29-1.jpg

Dante Vizante's vision of an impenetrable screen around the nation takes its first steps towards reality, as the Canadians are taught a lesson in the air that the Hungarians, Austrians, French, Yugoslavians, Bulgars, Czech, and others have learned on the ground. Do not MESS with Romania.
ScreenSave30-1.jpg

China: Who is doing its best to become a world power.
ScreenSave31-1.jpg

Soon thereafter:
ScreenSave32-1.jpg

Crickey!
ScreenSave33-1.jpg

China, again: Will Manchuria and Japan be able to hold them back?
ScreenSave34-1.jpg

Back in Romania it is late fall, and with Winter on it's way, our Generals push for an early declaration of War. Waiting too long will increase the chances of our forces getting bogged down in the Northern Grecian territories due to the weather.
ScreenSave35-1.jpg

As is our wont, the Romanian Military launches a full blown offensive on the front line of the Greek Troops.
ScreenSave36-1.jpg

In Edessa, our Mountaineer's break through first, while in the skies allied planes are shot down like Christmas Geese.
ScreenSave37-1.jpg

With Kavala firmly in hand, our forces move to quickly secure Istanbul and the vital landbridge.
ScreenSave38-1.jpg

That attack is successful, as is the continuing advance of our Mountaineer's into Larissa.
ScreenSave39-1.jpg

Salonika Falls as well. It seems the Greeks aren't so very forward moving when someone isn't doing all the work for them.
ScreenSave40-1.jpg

Cut off, 20,000 troops in Gorna are defeated utterly.
ScreenSave43-1.jpg

Greek troops march into Edessa, and then run out hours later.
ScreenSave44-1.jpg

But, like they say; "You can run, but you'll only die tired."
ScreenSave45-1.jpg

Nicolae Titulescu, our Foreign Minister, pushes for King Carol II to accept when the Greeks cry out for mercy. And, in truth, most of our desired gains for this venture have been secured... But why stop simply because your foe is weak?
ScreenSave46-1.jpg

Next Post: A third party joins the battle in Greece... but who?

Looks like you'll have a border with Japan in a few years... If they manage to break the Soviets you might be able to do a huge landgrab in Soviet-occupied Europe.

I'll try to get back into some dramatization next post, it deserves some.

------------
"Your Majesty!" Screams Nicolae Titulescu.
"Crap..." Someone mutters.

The fussy diplomat enters the warroom with a bunch of papers under his arms, waving one in particular in the air.

"I have some serious news concerning the Soviets!" He yells, about two foot from King Carol.

Our intrepid leader takes the sheet, scans it, and mutters those all too famous last words: "Aww shit."
--------------

Our forces are suprised to find 2 divisions of BRITISH troops on the island of Kefalonia. Of course, our brave troops throw the wankers back into the sea almost immediately.
ScreenSave47-1.jpg

Our Army, led by the ever victorious Cavalerie hit the Grecian capital and push them south.
ScreenSave48-1.jpg

The surviving forces of Greece, relegated to defending a few pathetic islands, eventually succumb to fate.
ScreenSave49-1.jpg

ScreenSave50-1.jpg

And with Greece out of the way, it is a simple manner to defeat and capture yet more british troops too far from home.
ScreenSave51-1.jpg

Back in Italy, we are forced to send troops in to resecure the tip of the Peninsula.
ScreenSave52-1.jpg

And thus we have the rightful and true borders of the NEW Romania.
ScreenSave54-1.jpg

------------

"Awww shit." King Carol II muttered reading the terms of the non-aggression pact between his Nation and the Soviets. "Already? It's only been like 20 years... Will this affect our plans?"

Around the table glances are exchanged and shoulders and risen and drooped in noncommittance. "They ARE kind of stretched at the moment, I doubt they'd be too eager to get into another war..."
ScreenSave0-2.jpg

A current breakdown of Anatolia:
ScreenSave2-3.jpg

Garrison forces finish Recruitment and prepare for deployment on our Soviet Border.
ScreenSave4-3.jpg

Oh, so you have forgotten about China, eh?
ScreenSave5-3.jpg

But wait, there's more!:
ScreenSave6-2.jpg

Dante Vizante's airforce continues expansion, and the heavily bombed region of Southern Italy is finally decently defended, much to the allies woe. (I'm assuming each wing represents 3 squadrons, or 36 planes)
ScreenSave7-2.jpg

In just 2 hours dozens of Allied bombers are sent hurtling to the ground,
ScreenSave8-2.jpg

After 3.5 hours the allied bombers break off their run, fleeing back to safe airbases. Of the 360 aircraft that entered Romanian airspace that day, 247 made it back to base, with another 81 of those suffering damage to some extent. (Those numbers are completely arbitrary). Truly, a great victory for the Romanian Air Force.
ScreenSave9-2.jpg

Knowing the Soviets are stretched thin and quite pressed with wars on both far ends of their 'Republic', Romania decides to go ahead and attempt to make its move into Anatolia before the French completely secure it.
ScreenSave11-3.jpg

OH! A month Earlier there was a 'Sudden Change of Government' Event that happened. I apparently didn't get a screen shot. Next update will have a bit to do with the new faces riding the Reisenrad. :p

Our forces Crossing into Anatolia meet victory, and here are some random techs.
ScreenSave12-3.jpg

"F***! MOTH******ERS!" King Carol can be heard screaming late one night in his chambers as news comes in from the west.

It appears we had underestimated just how thin the Soviet lines were... And now we are out of position, committed to a War that is now quite insignificant...
ScreenSave13-3.jpg

That could get worse if not stopped very quickly. But as I understand it correctly...the Soviet Union is at war with the Allies and Japan...also with China? Good Luck against the Red Bear..If you want to take it out efficiently I would suggest cut them off in Germany with a thrust to the Baltic. Also start invading the Caucasus for the Baku Oil etc.

Current Wars:

France, England, Spain (others) vs Romania.

France, England, Spain (others) vs Soviet Union

France, England, Spain (others) vs Turkey

Japan vs China

Japan vs Soviet Union.

The SU and China aren't at war, in fact I think that together they are going to completely crush the Imperialistic Ambitions of Japan between them, literally.

I do not want a war with the Soviet Union. They have the man power and IC to oppose the Allies, I do not (yet). I'd love nothing more than to spend a few years securing the Mediterranean. From Anatolia to Alexandria to Portugal.

Oh no, the french is coming down the Alps. Send your bomber to harrass them! Do you have transports? Can ferry troops more effectively to defend vulnerable areas but sea is a dangerous place.
