Sounds very good! I like the effect changes you've made to laws, NIs and trade goods. The new provinces in Greece look great, too.
(Btw, I'm glad to hear you unmerged MG and Epirus. :p )

Looking forward to this Wiz, i really enjoyed this mod back in the day - looks like you have made some fantastic improvements!

Is a weekend release still on the cards or has the patch thrown things somewhat?

Stuff got set back somewhat but an early version should be available soon.

how soon is "soon", and please dont answer "soon"
wait a sec.... I meant please answer soon, but not "soon"
.... is anyone beside me getting confused by what i am writting?!

Before too long

;)

Believe it or not, this isn't dead. I'm almost done with the map and have everything else ready for the first version. Going to release something tonight or tomorrow most likely.

Excellent, looking forward to it :)

OK, it will be tomorrow rather than today, but here are some teasers.

Political map: Some 100 countries to choose from, everything from dirt poor 1 province tribes to the empires like Rome and Carthage.

Province map: 80 new land provinces to fight over, with province density especially increased around the Med to allow for more meaningful wars between the medium powers

A redone government tree allows tribes to evolve gradually into states and lets the player to take a tribe and carve out his own kingdom instead of having to pick from the limited selection at start.

This and much more coming tomorrow when I release Reign of the Ancients, T&E's spiritual successor.

I figure that's the way to label it, since i'm using countries and such but only a few gameplay elements from T&E, but have a similar goal in mind in making tribes a viable gameplay choice and making the map far less boring.

Looks good Wiz, I am particularly interested in the government additions.

Suprised you havent broken up Argolis.

There are new provinces all over Greece, including in Argolis.

But Argos and Athens are found in the same province, right?

Ah, yeah, I don't think I can really split off more provinces there with the current map scale. They wouldn't fit the units.
