I'm not sure if this is a bug, or something that was used as debug during beta, but I'm reporting it anyway.Attempting to trigger an event by use of the console whose conditions are not met either does nothing or says the conditions are not met. While I can see it's obvious use for event scripters, it is quite frustating to someone either playing with events, or playing handsoff.

I *think* you are trying to trigger the civilising invention You have to wait for the invention to fire (random)

The problem I've seen with this (the only one I've seen) is that events triggered like this all fire as if they were happening to you. Annoying, eh? I mean, if I'm going to cheat, I might as well be able to liberate Hungary to get Austria into the Popular Unification!

You can specify the country tag after event id to get it happen to some other nation.

Not just the new civilising event, but all other events that have trigger requirements. For example, let's say I want Sweden (or Denmark) to become Scandanavia, about 10 years early, I type in event 6602 for Sweden... nothing happens, the console basically says that the conditions are not met, and the event will refuse to fire. This is what happens to all other events that have requirements that are not met.
