In that case all good then! ;)
Well, not quite. I would redo both VoW and Naval stand ground buttons but I need an idea for the latter one, which I currently lack. I could do the bullet for VoW but then the Nsg would stay as it is now.

So, any ideas re: a good subject for a Nsg button...?

He he... prompt as usual, bestmajor. Thanks :) .

Very nice pictures - I could use them, but given the similarity with mine I'd prefer to keep the Bismarck (which is displayed in my current Naval stand ground button ;) ).

The key would be finding a rather simple image I could then draw in black (in the same style as the current Scorched earth button).

Anyway, to be honest, I'd keep it as it is... I'd first like to read other users' opinion on this matter before changing that (and the Victory or Walhalla) button.

Victory and Valhalla

I say it could be a Hammer

Merge them together!

Hm, I'll try and see what happens but I think that, at the end of the day, I'll go for a single bullet since it would fit the WW2 timeframe better.

You know, I got rid of the former Viking cap for the Victory or Walhalla button just because it was too "mythological" for my taste...

You might have already filled out your Italian aircraft set since I last looked at it, but in case not:

Sorry, but I can't find a plan view of the Reggiane. Will keep looking though.
Thanks a lot, Epa. The first two are done; and it's a pity the Reggiane's drawing is side-view, it's such a good one...! Should you find a top-view one, please let me know. Thank you!

Edit:

...a HUGE "thank you!" to bestmajor, whose unflagging efforts in searching missing aircraft models resulted in the finding of a drawing (even in color!) for the almost-not-to-be-found Kugisho Tenga, a late WW2 Japanese jet naval bomber project.

This let me complete Japan's aircraft icon set by making that last missing icon. His deed is worth a screenshot of the ensuing work that has been possible thanks to his finding, plus a special release of the Corrections file.

If there would be some three or four clones of bestmajor, I think there wouldn't be anything the modding community couldn't do... ;)

thanks for the mention, Titan. seems that years of japanese research pay off finally..
and great icon, i was really not sure if you would manage to make it out of what i've sent you.

Downloading the latest corrections :) thanks for good work.
You're welcome! :)

Heh, you deserve that! Many of the improvements done after the TP's release on 1-1-11 have been possible thanks to your efforts.

And thanks for the compliment - I guess the icon could look even a bit better, to be honest. Maybe I'll tweak its brightness and saturation a bit and see what happens.

Congratulations and a deep bow to both of you!
Thank you! ...you know, although I'm rather busy with other matters these days, like checking various videos suggested to me by a friend ;) , I always try to find a while to keep improving the TP... :)

C'mmon, they re 2 hours long at most! But if you are predetermined not to convert no data I throw at you will do the trick. I would rather see you improving the icons then mate :D

To forumites reading this: blame me for a certain amount of derailed time I've stolen from Titan that could have been invested in improving his mod. Spanking scheduled for tomorrow 8 p.m. ;)

Made on request two new buttons for Victory or Walhalla and Naval Stand Ground. Here's how they look:

Get them by downloading the Corrections file at the top of the first post in this thread, as usual.

However, since I regard the former VoW-NSG buttons I made to be better, these new ones will be optional. If you want to use them, after installing the Corrections file, go to ...\AoD\gfx\interface\ and rename:

"Button_victory_or_wallhalla [alt].bmp" to "Button_victory_or_wallhalla.bmp"

and

"Button_naval_standground [alt].bmp" to "Button_naval_standground.bmp".

Thank you Titan!

Bullet is perfect while naval stand ground could be made black, the sa,e as the TNT button - light grey is not visible enough when you have a white background.

What do you think?

Well, first off, thanks for the bullet - and re: NSG, I've tried but I wasn't happy enough about the results. Will try again and post it soon, though...

Anyway, it's not light gray but light blue, i.e. the same color as in the image you provided ;)

I'm just nitpicking but I know that you strive for perfectionism so I'm gladly awaiting the black&white version of that icon ;)

Made another alternate version for the "Naval standground" button, this time in black.

Get it by downloading the Corrections file at the top of the first post.
