Does anyone else have this problem. For example, if one of my provinces has a maximum build capacity of 5000 troops and I start building them, I have to wait at lease one month before I can build even 1000 troops in another province. This can be very annoying, especially during a war.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Stevie

Your problem may be manpower limits

Refer to the top right of your screen (soldiers icon) for the number of soldiers you can call up, and the number added every year.

This figure is affected by empire size and stability level.

So can anyone explain to me how u can increase your troop building capacity. At the moment I am playing as Algiers, and I own about 25 provinces and can only build 20,000 a year, I also have a stability of +3.

HELP???????/

When you get to really high land tech (37?) you can build conscription centers, at which point the game is over.

Doesn't raise your total manpower base though-just lets you build what you've got faster, which is not always a good thing.

I do believe you are mistaken. After you build the centers, the manpower number for each province does go up, and the total you can save on the shelf and the number the computer claims you get each year definitely goe up.

Basically, be a bigger country with more people in it. If you've been expanding in north africa, there aren't that many people around. If you've been expanding in europe, that won't help any :D

I'll have to check, but I haven't noticed it myself. Population or wealth (and I've never been certain which) in a province seems to be the only thing that affects it that I've noticed.

Yup, that's what I was referring too :D If he didn't know about the manpowerpool so far, he most likely won't know this one either :D Which can, if very harsh, also endanger the manpowerpool.
