Trouble with Graphics

I'm having trouble with the graphics in this game, lots of stripes all over the map and over anything that is text. Most of the map-stripes go away when I switch to political map, but the text stripes stay, so I can't really see what I'm doing, and as such, can't play the game. Should I put colors down to 16-bit?

There is a known graphics problem with the economical map, which hopefully will be fixed with the next patch

The problems with the text that you have, I never heard of. So I would say just try it with 16bit
