Okay, so after weeks of trying to get HOI2 MP to work, me and my friend finally did. We used Hamachi and it worked, but when we were hosting, he couldn't hear me talking in TeamSpeak, all he heard was the music in HOI2. I don't use speakers, I have a headset, and it only happened once I joined his game. Is there a way to fix it?

We're both using Doomsday-Armageddon 1.2

I have a question for you regarding your Hamachi. How do you play the game, over which channel and why don't you play over valkiyenet (I want to establish also a game with a friend of mine, but it seems we cant see each others games (LAN and internet) and in valkiyent there is an IP error although the firewall is deactivated. In Hamachi (LAN) we cant see each others games).

I think I once tried with plain hamachi too and had exactly the same problem with my friend. We both had routers and hamachi. So if you use hamachi and play on virtual LAN, you still have to open the ports in your firewall/router settings. Even deactivating the firewall may not be enough. So try to open the 3 port ranges that the game uses and try then.

How do i do that?

Open the ports you ask? You should check this thread. http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=187623

But if I put this simple, you have to open these port ranges in your router/firewall settings.

2300-2400
28800-29000
47400-47700

Somewhere in the settings there has to be a port forwarding option. Can't really be more specific, because there are lots of routers and firewalls uknow...

If you are behind a router, then check this link http://portforward.com/, there isn't HoI in the list of games, but any game will do, as long as you remember that HoI uses those 3 port ranges.

If you happen to be behind a firewall and have no idea how to open the ports, then use google and find the instructions for your firewall. There should be something out there...

IT isnt Hamachi causint the problem nubs.

Fix your sound settings, one of you has 'what youh hear' setting on and is blasting the other with there sounds. Fix your windows sound settings. LOL If it was Hamachi you think youd hear the other persons music? lol
