Troubles using map-editor 1.08beta

I'm having problems using the map-editor after installing the latest beta.

When I click+ctrl to add provinces for countries in my campaign, the editor crashes to desktop... this didn't happen while on plain 1.08.. (and maybe the early betas too) but it's a problem on this latest beta...

what's wrong? has anyone else experienced the same problems?

is there a different way to assign provinces to countries in the editor, other than click+ctrl ..??

Editor most likely is not compatible with beta patches.

Since we don't support either, I cannot help you much.

Someone in the scenario forum might know the exact change(s) that messed it up, you could ask there. Frankly it is much eisier to make the changes you want to the file directly, so most people have never used the editor.

yes I see..

I know that the editor might not be the best way of creating a scenario.. but it's more inspiring to use a map than staring into a text-file...

I suppose that's what I'll be doing if I'm going to make a scen.. thanks anyway

Check with the scanario forum lots of good info there, and I recommend Havard site as well.
