Weird Scenario happening - need advice/help.

Im playing as Italy and it's Summer 1942 - Ive lost Italian East Africa but have pushed 45 Allied Divisions to the Cairo and Suez.

I make a successful landing in Tel Aviv to flank them and all of sudden 15 Allied Divisions just appear in El Arish, then another 14 in Gaza. No transports, no airlifts, no sign of them anywhere (I reloaded and cleared fog of war to actually find out). All 45 divisions from before are in still in North Africa and havent moved.

What the heck is that? did something happen I missed?

Yeh i find the allies stack so much units in egypt once the war starts its imperative (once te italians joins they blitz all of suez and hold a line south of cairo and the alleis will stuck 100+ divs in the 10 infra dessert )

thanks iFail!

I am wondering about the miracle that was 250,000 troops showing up behind me...did they strategic deploy? how?

And i have 4 Allied enemy divisions trapped in Moghara in North Africa with no way out (no allowances to any allied provinces and yup they are still being supplied by 9 months. Bug

First of all: please keep in mind that this is the old TRP version. We wont support this version any longer.
Furthermore we have changed the mechanic for trapped divisions. They wont lose organisation. That should help the AI to open encirclement. Perhaps those 4 trapped divisions have started to lose strength because of the missing supplies but they wont lose the organisation.
For the allied stacks: keep in mind that there is a general misc config that allows AI to redeploy troops via strategic redeployment within 2 weeks. So there is a chance that your AI has redeployed the troops from anywhere in Africa during the invasion.

If i remember correctly, Moghara is one of those provinces with blocked connections. While these indeed block division movement, they don't affect supplies. As long as there's an adjacent allied province with connection to a supply depot, the trapped units will be supplied. That's no bug, on the contrary: We're using this very effect for supply transfer via lakes. It's a bit counterintuitive, that's true.
