House Rules
(EGA rules... and yes, House MD also rulz)

**Very Special Rule**
If you start threatening the other players and/or the GM about quitting, then I'm gonna have to ask for your resignation from the game.

- Don't make personal attacks on the players. Feel free to make personal attacks on ingame personalities (Akbar, Tokugawa, a Shaolin Monk), and on countries in a general sense as long as such attacks are roleplayed.

- Maximum THREE (3) provinces taken from a human in a war per alliance. Non-asian* provs count as 1/2, TPs count as 1/5, and CoTs as 2 provinces. After 1650 maximum of FIVE (5) provinces can be taken. After 1700, SEVEN (7) provinces, and after 1800 no peace restrictions. Any number of players or alliances that wage war for a common aim (GMs will decide), will be considered as a single alliance, for the purpose of this rule.

- If at -3 stab and -99WS, you have to accept next stabhitting offer immediately. This is a vital rule and we will be paying attention for its accomplishment. Only an alliance leader can send a stab hitting peace offer.

- Cultural Rule: Any nation that control 75% of a culture for 30 years may claim that culture as state culture, a nation can claim only FOUR (4) cultures. Plan it carefully as a culture gained by this way will not be removed in any case. The burden of proof in this matter lies on the players.

- A nation that controls a province for 60 years, which isn't his core, and has a state culture, will get a core on it, if he can post province ID and a name. Further, the core province MUST have the same religion as the country. Provinces with COLONIAL culture cannot be claimed.

- If a human is force-vassalized he must remain such for at least 20 years. Unless his liege frees him peacefully, after those 20 years he must fight for independence. Vassals cannot declare war on overlord's allies or vassals without his permission. This also applies to event-generated, and not to diplomatic vassalage.

- AAR and intense diplomacy are highly recomended. Don't let the game die during the weekdays. For claiming a reward, player must write at least 10 understandable sentences about what happened with his country in the last session. It is important for AAR to be continuing overview of history (even short) rather then list of highlights that happened. Cumulative rewards are non existant. Each player who writes an AAR at least ONE (1) day before game time, will be able to choose one of these rewards:

- 0,50 deflation
- 0,50 x YI
- -2BB
- +1 stab

And in 1650 we change to present prizes:

- 1,0 deflation
- -4BB
- 1 x YI
- +2 Stab

- Giving away cities to try to avoid some event to fire is forbidden.

- Using pirates to stop a load or deny a retreat is forbidden.

- The land-naval slider can range only from 3 to 7.

- Map trading with AI is forbidden.

- Using Defender of the Faith is forbidden.

- Breaking peace agreement is forbidden.

- Using exploration bug with 100 ships is forbidden.

- Staying at war with a country just for a purpose of looting, is forbidden.

- Edits are done between sessions and not during them.

- Release of vassals during wartime, to hinder an enemy, is forbidden.

- Force-burning of manufacturies, is forbidden.

- A country must declare war on the overlord in order to declare war on the vassal.

*DEFINITION OF ASIAN PROV: Continental provs from the Sinai to the tip of Malacca, from Sri Lanka to Kamchatka.

Just one question what is an AAR?
After Action Report, it's about telling a story of our countries of what happened during our session, quite easy, you can write novelesque or keep it simple, by writiing these little stories you get a cookie for next session. :)

Alek I am going to have to ask you to edit your post to remove my name from the Very Special rule thing, or else I am going to have to lodge a complaint with the Admins, it easily falls within the realm of libel.

Caslu, heres a tip if your on your computer turn on ICQ I need to talk wit you, have ICQ turn on whenever you turn on your computer.

Hey Guys,

It looks like a fun game. Where is that link you mentioned? I wouldnt' mind trying to figure out where my country is :p
Edited that, now the link is more visible, first post. :eek:o :)

EDIT: With the present setup Viajayagar (?) has a biggest advantage in India compared with Bengal and Delhi... Especially regarding religion... Maybe some convertions for Delhi and Bengal would be in order...

Now Viajayagar has a COT, a strong and coherent country and no wrong-religions provinces... Delhi and Bengal doesnt have COTs (where is Delhi's COT?) lots of wrong religion/wrong culture provinces and all their neighbours are wrong-religion...

I am not whining, though, since if situation remains this way, an strong alliance between Bengal and Delhi would be essential, however, the balance in India could be better.

Read above
Gah, I guess we can do some conversions. All their starting provs to make it more equal?

Edit: remember that Vijanayagar is played by a rookie, it shouldn't be that traumatic.
